"First visit to the pub. I booked a table the day before for 6:45. We arrived early and it was so busy which is always a good sign. We was taken to our table and was told they would come take our order at 6,45....We had a drink and got talking to a lady at the next table. She told us the next table was there before she was and she had been served and finished there meal and the table about 6 was still waiting. Another table was also still waiting. After no one came to take our order I went to find someone The lady said there was still orders waiting. I asked how long was the food waiting time she said she would go ask. On returning I was told maybe 30 minutes. Buy this time it was 7.15 and we still hadn’t got our order taken. If it was 30 minutes we would have been waiting 1 hour. I understand it was busy. But if I take the time to book a table I do expect to order around the time I booked for. I had only heard good things about the Harrow but left very disappointed L"

I hadn't visited since COVID and the change in management. The menu is extensive, but we only ordered the soup of the day, a roast dinner, and apple crumble. All the food was delicious and of good quality. Prices are reasonable, and the service was excellent.

We have eaten here a few times. I would recommend phoning in advance as the pub does get busy. The food and service is very good, a little bit of a wait sometimes due to them being busy. It would be great if there were...more vegetarian options than there is at present.

The homemade food at this restaurant is absolutely outstanding. It's cooked to perfection, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. The staff is exceptional as well. I've visited twice and tried both the beef burger and the lasagna, and I found them both to be delightful. I highly recommend this place! View menu

Walked passed her on Sunday and called in for a drink. Looks decent inside, great garden for summer. Reasonable prices. Will come here again. Suggestion for the management: The garden could be more friendly for kids. Maybe install some swings, a few slides, etc... This...would attract more families.

I visited the restaurant with friends and had a wonderful experience. The main courses were fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The desserts were delicious as well. We also participated in a quiz, which made for an excellent evening. The staff were superb throughout our visit. I will definitely be returning!

"After reading the reviews we was really looking forward to eating here ,however it turned out to be the worst tapas and worst service we have ever received . After waiting 10 minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then waited a further 30 mins to be served with what can only be described as toast with tasteless mushed up tomatoes on , this was inedible and hardly touched , a further 20 minutes on and we was served a single dish of chicken between two of us again this was very bland and resembled nothing like a original tapas dish more like a chicken korma again this was hardly touched . When I enquired as to where the rest of the food was I was told they was very busy . With this we decided to cut our loses and asked for the bill . Before leaving we tried to have a conversation with the manager who is also the chef to give some honest feedback ,however he wasn’t open to listening , he’s response was “it’s normal in a tapas restaurant to receive one dish at a time between two with a large gap between dishes wasn’t it explained to you that’s what tapas is “We felt this was a very patronising remark as we eat tapas on a regular basis and know this is definitely not the case . To matters worse there was people who came in after us with multiple plates and tucking in nicely to their meals . The manager who was obviously struggling to cope on a busy Saturday night should have just apologised and admitted our order had been overlooked . If you are looking for authentic Tapas with excellent service in Wigan go to Casa Carlos this place doesn’t deserve your hard earned money ."
