"Popped in for a bite after visiting the nearby car supermarket and were tired and hungry. Very friendly welcome, cosy place and in a lovely location surrounded by trees and a lake. Food didn’t take too long to arrive and it was all pretty good, actually the starter was pretty big so I struggled to finish my main! We actually dropped round here a second time a week or so later after going go-karting nearby. Definitely a little gem, reasonably priced and worth checking out."

The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Our group of nine enjoyed a meal with drinks for under £170. The service was outstanding, and the menu offers a nice variety.

We hosted a first birthday party in the back room, and even though the rest of the pub was quite busy, the staff were incredibly helpful. We had a wonderful dining experience with perfectly cooked fresh food in a fantastic setting by a quiet sea. It felt very private, and the staff were exceptional. My fiancé and I agreed that this was the best local choice, and we can’t wait to return. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality justifies the expense.
