"Our visit to this restaurant was terrible. My husband, child, and I went with the intention of having lunch. Firstly, no one knew how to make a pimms and had to look it up online, which took over 5 minutes to prepare. It was quite bold of them to charge £9.50 for a pimms when they didn't even know how to make it. When we went to sit in the garden, the entire area smelled strongly of either dog or cat feces, making it extremely unpleasant. Even my 3-year-old asked to leave because of the smell. As the general manager of a local pub, I understand that dealing with animals can be challenging, but it is important to ensure that customers are not so repulsed that they feel the need to finish their drinks quickly and leave. It's a shame that our experience was so disappointing."

£6.80 for a pint of moretti an absolute rip off. Most expensive pint I’ve had outside of London and served flat. Food was good and well priced.

The pizza was fantastic and the service was excellent. The restaurant is very family-friendly and has a lovely garden. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The steak with chimichurri sauce, tomatoes, and chips was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Definitely one of the best pub meals I've ever had! View menu

We had another lovely meal here as a family. Service is excellent, very appealing menu and great local atmosphere. Reliably good and highly recommend for a family meal in Groombridge.

We had a big family party in the long room, adjoining the pub. Drinks on arrival, and bubbly for a toast. Plenty of snack food hot and cold, and a large TV screen to show old family pics.

Fantastic country pub with a modern twist! Popped in here Saturday night for a bite to eat. Ordered 2 pizza’s which were fantastic! Moretti on tap which is always a bonus whispering angel by the glass which is rare! Great decor too! View menu

Not a good sign when the waitress says “I don’t know beers” when you ask for a pint. £70 later 3 people, 1 course/1 drink pp): food was cold, roast dinners were a mix of half cooked hard vegetables, chewy cheap meats, and dry over cooked potatoes/Yorkshires. No seasonings or flavor had to ask twice for salt/pepper. Had to ask multiple times for ketchup no sauces on the dry burger). Plates were cold /room was cold). Had to ask 3x and go to the bar for a glass of water. Terrible service. Bad all round, best avoided.

We planned our Spa Valley Railway day and was told that the Junction Inn was a great local pub that offers discount for users of the railway. After arriving at the station just after 11am, we spent an hour walking around Groombridge waiting for the pub to open at 12 (as advertised on their website and on Google) However when we arrived we noted that the pub was in darkness with the windows open, around 6 people waiting outside for the place to open. When I eventually called they informed me they no longer open for lunch hours and would be open in the evening. There was no mention of this anywhere and a lot of people left disappointed! Please update your website to reflect the correct hours.
