The Lake House - Menu

Came out for lunch with my family, slow service on the mains and a small person got very hungry. Made up for with great tasting food and excellent customer service.

My friend and I popped in for coffee and noticed on the menu a light breakfast especially for small appetites, well all I can say is it was absolutely fantastic food surroundings and the staff.

Sunday morning breakfast meet with friends. Nice location and sun was shining. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was nice and well presented, drinks (hot cold) were done well too. Would return View menu

Great spot for friends, families or work lunches. Offers an amazing view outside on the decking, with food and service to match. Sells a selection of nice cakes, lunch and breakfast options, whilst being priced excellently. Would highly recommend.

Two of us visited for lunch. We hadn’t booked but arrived at 12.00 so were able to get a table. We felt very safe throughout the visit. The food was lovely. The service was very friendly and quick. The view is beautiful. I look forward to returning after lockdown round 2!

I got my wife the Mother’s Day hamper today from my children, unbelievable price for the quality of the hamper, my wife did one for her mum from a different place near Epsom, it was more expensive and not even the variety of the selection from the Lake house, thank you for making my wife very happy lady. Really enjoyed our visit today with friends. We booked and they gave us two tables to maintain social distance, but still allowed us to enjoy each other’s company.The food we had was excellent; my husband said it was the best burger he had ever had. The cakes looked fantastic, but after a substantial sandwich, I could not have fitted anything more in,Would really recommend this little place staff were lovely.

This place offers a promising illusion of decency and quality, but it is a long way off the mark. It is cashing-in on its enviable location beside a lake, but they have no clue about what constitutes decent food, decent service or quality. It is a DIVE! The food is dreadful and the owner is a thug! STAY WELL AWAY!!! We are here recently, it was hideous.. The quality is just awful, and they don’t care. If you raise an issue, the owner comes and gives you a mouthful. He’s not a decent guy, and this is a place best avoided!

Really lovely setting. We were lucky enough to have good weather and sat outside.We had booked a table but had a 30 minute wait for food as the cafe was really busy with takeaway orders. The food was good and well presented.The only issue was that there is not any vegan options, even though it states on their burger menu 'check out our vegetarian and vegan choices '. The vegan option was a veggie burger served in a brioche bun. We pointed out that brioche was not vegan and we were offered the burger without a bun and without cheese for the same price! I appreciate that not all establishments cater for vegans, but I did inquire prior to booking. View menu
