The Meze - Menu

We went for my friends birthday! We booked the wrong date by accident, but the staff and owner was so helpful and squeezed us in on a busy night the food and cocktails was a 10 out of 10 we honestly had such a fantastic night and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

Nice looking restaurant, however the food I ordered (chicken thighs) were not cooked and still pink! The waitress took the food and bought it back, still uncooked! When paying the bill no one asked if the meal was ok, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant from my experience and opinion.

Terrible place **** service got up twice to get served over priced for the food they serve Although they had a shisha menu with several flavours only had 2 available again over priced and couldn’t even get a coal change I had to go find someone to request one by the time someone came the shisha was out! Where do I start? Cocktails were bang on, (absolutely loved the pornstar as had real passion fruit in it) all the food was delicious with great presentation, portions were more than adequate, I had the red Velvet prawns oh wow, my personal recommendation for the sun is the lamb Shish, OMG the lamb was so tender and melted in my mouth, service was great, cannot comment on the deserts as we were so full up we didn’t get that far, highly recommended

Reading reviews below had to comment Went here for my birthday and have been many times previously, hence why we chose this venue for my bday. Firstly staff all very friendly, food amazing no one had a bad meal, atmosphere amazing, DJ played some tunes, Manager on point, never once been rude always greets us as we walk in, if you were treated 'badly ' probably because your actions to his staff reflected his behaviour to you. In all, lovely place, toilets are clean, food good, service good You cannot go wrong.

I came here for my birthday celebrations. The staff were completely rude and lacked customer service! I ordered a pornstar martini and was given a white wine shot instead of Prosecco, when questioned I was told that it was Prosecco but had been poured out an hour ago why is was flat! This makes absolutely no sense not to mention the health and safety of leaving food drink out for an hour. My party ordered the pan fried garlic prawns which came over cooked, were not cleaned and did not taste pan fried or of garlic! I booked this restaurant for a works colleagues 18th birthday for 25 of us For the Martin and Prosecco Drunch The food was delicious and the drinks were coming out good which was mostly Prosecco only 22 turned up when the bill came out they charged us for 22 Martinis Drunch because some of the girls mixed them as they were finding the martini’s too sweet so most people went on to have the Prosecco but what I found was when the bill arrived it was over 1000.00 for 22 people was extortionate as they charge 12.5% service charge which worked over 100.00 service charge It’s a lovely place don’t get me wrong we was on the terrace which was closed and made it very hot with no air conditioning which...

Food is extremely vile. It only looks nice to photograph but not to taste. Cocktails are ok but not worth the price. Service is very slow, staff are rude and stole a bag and phone from the birthday girl whilst we were being attacked by another party and therefore we were distracted. Find my iPhone showed the phone was still in the venue after all guest left but staff denied this. Staff informed the bag had been recovered over the phone but when we went to pick up the bag we were informed the bag was not found. So why was find my iPhone showing the phone is in the venue? Another restaurant that focuses on social media rather than getting things right. The food is ok. Ok at best. Don’t order the chips, they are deep fried…then deep fried again, then again and again. Either that or the chef puts them in a fryer, goes on holiday, returns from holiday, then takes the fries out the fryer. If you order falafel, there’s a chance you’ll get small sausages on a bread and hummus bed. What they do have going for them outside of providing food which IS their USP, is they have a cocktail served in a porcelain mug shaped like a boot!….not a massively redeeming attribute when a vegetarian is served 3 little meat sausages, in lieu of falafel.
