Went for Sunday lunch with family. The Yorkshire puddings are enormous but no where near enough gravy even asking for extra gravy they were dry and crisp. Beef was OK nothing special. Pricy for what you get. Will not return

Excellent meal as always. Staff went out of there way to make my little girls birthday a memorable time. Huge thanks to Leanna. We love the food and every time we come in we can't fault the standard of food or service. Amazing View menu

Went just now for a lovely birthday meal.Our waiter was lovely, her name was Robyn and she was really nice and welcoming especially to my grandparents. The food was amazing and didn’t take long to come!Been here a couple of times and will definitely be coming back again, Thankyou

second time visited and loved it again! really recommend everyone, the menu is also great! I went for the chicken roast (other portions are generous and really delicious! my partner and I stayed longer than expected and we both enjoyed it very much! we were supervised by charlotte naomi, friendly and beautiful ladies. I will definitely return what a nice pub lunchtime!

We received friendly and fun service from Naomi who made us comfortable whilst staying perfectly professional. Thank you Naomi, exceptional work. The 7 of us enjoyed all 3 courses enormously. The steak may have been a little tough, but that happens sometimes doesn't it. The standout meals were the ones that The Midland themselves point out on the menu, so do take that recommendation on board. You won't regret it. View menu

zelt for a spontaneous Sunday meal after a walk around the many canal monks with the dog (dog friendly pub inside and outside around the back. also has a separate dining area only for people). the food was perfect, very tasty and fresh. this is not their average pub food, this is high quality at a very reasonable average price. has to make from the cook and before the housemanship for my short stop welcoming and pleasant. come back! highly recommended!

The food was good. The attitude of the staff left a lot to be desired. We ordered a bottle of wine and were apparently served a different one. They stated we should have recognised the different label despite they were both shiraz. They were extremely rude and expected us to pay £39-50 instead of £23-50!!!!! It took quite a dispute before they agreed to pay us. We got £10 back... and we stuck out and asked for the rest! Despite a few previous visits we will not be going back!
