"Found this place by chance online whilst looking for a countryside walk. Looked at the menu and booked as it had lots of veggie choices. In the end, most of us had the Sunday roast! The veg were especially good, including cauliflower cheese which is usually an extra. The waitress offered for the one veggie to also have the cauliflower cheese with her wellington which was a great addition. We all had puddings and enjoyed these too! There was a lovely buzz in the pub without it being noisy. Thank you for a great experience and we will definitely return! We also really enjoyed the 4.5 mile pub walk which is described on the pub website although there was a little detour due to a broken bridge but our phones enabled us to get back on track."

My pork loin steak with savoy cabbage, bacon and onion and dauphinois potatoes was one of the most delicious meals I have had ever. Wish I lived closer !

Really nice place and cosy inside. The menu had a good choice including a few vegetarian options and the food we had was lovely. Lady serving behind the bar was friendly.

Amazing fresh food that you can tell was prepared on the premises. Incredibly well maintained beer and the service was exceptional. Friendly staff, who were attentive but not intrusive. A wonderful find in a pretty village.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch last week at The Oak Saw in Taplow. Despite arriving at the last minute, we were fortunate to snag a table outside in the courtyard. The hanging plants, lovely countryside view, delicious meal, and excellent service made for a truly enjoyable experience.

We stumbled across this little gem of a pub online while staying locally during a four day trip to the Windsor Area. The reviews looked good so thought we'd give it a go and so glad we did. We were surprised how quiet it was. We had the Gammon and the Scampi, followed by the Treacle sponge and Sticky toffee pudding. All freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely return if we come back this way. Lovely local pub x

Well after being rejected by the snobby gastro pub next to the Thames partly are fault for not booking, we ventured to plan B to the oak and saw. well what a pleasure to have found this charming oasis excellent greetings and accommodating service from the politest Charly, together with well-presented excellent food and drink, all at reasonable prices delved by the cheerful northern landlady. Unmistakably standards driven by love and passion, to upheld high standards in the quaint friendly house situated in a beautiful village. we had landed accidently in a wonderful place. A visit, you will not be disappointed.
