Lovely restaurant, fantastic menu and the staff were lovely especially Heather, food was delicious! The view over the lake was fabulous! Thank you for a lovely evening

the staff was nice, but the food was moderate and bland (both head and dessert) and was quite expensive. we have eaten here before we know that, although expensive, that would be excellent. very disappointed.

Had a lovely roast dinner it was absolutely delicious, the staff were so friendly, kind and caring, highly recommend. The ambience was lovely, it was a beautiful day and the views were beautiful. Will definitely return. View menu

The cozy ambiance was lovely, the staff was extremely attentive, and the food was served quickly and was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family! We had a great time staying at the hotel and also loved taking a stroll down to the boathouse.

New menu which is better than the last one. Interesting choices and reasonable value, service was excellent and food very good. Would certainly recommend and nice to sit lakeside if weather good. Friends we were with have a small dog which was accommodated in a separate bar area from the main restaurant, Water was provided for the dog too!

We were here for lunch. The restaurant was cold, wrapped with most guests to keep warm. We waited an hour for our main course and when we asked why the wait, the mason said that it was because I had ordered the soup to begin and that meant that she could not serve the main! An hour? No excuse. She then said that it just comes out and we had another 10 minutes waiting for really average quality food. We won't be back. View menu

We dined at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and had a very good experience. The location on the lake was beautiful. However, when we visited on a Saturday afternoon, the menu was somewhat strange (for example, you couldn't order an appetizer and a main course) and on the expensive side. The children's meal was excellent for our three-year-old, but the food for adults was just average. The service was also very slow, even though the restaurant was only half full. Overall, we plan on returning for Sunday dinner in the future.

The food was fantastic and lived up to expectations. However, I was disappointed by the service. My spouse and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary at this restaurant. When we arrived, we were seated at a table with only one set of cutlery and no glasses for our drinks, including a bottle of water. The staff seemed disinterested and lacking in enthusiasm. There was a lack of warmth or hospitality from them. When it came time for dessert, we placed our order with one waitress, only to have another waitress come by and try to take our order again. It was frustrating to have to reorder due to a miscommunication. Nobody asked us if we wanted more drinks throughout the meal. It's a pity bec...

Bad time to ask me to write a review... ???? Maybe it was the heat but todays visit did not go well, been here a number of times before with zero issues. Its a great location in the nice weather.... but things went awry this time. Slightly over 2.5 hrs to get served a 3 course meal even after prompting gently that we were still waiting. Multiple table visits by different staff querying what had been ordered, what we were waiting for, serving the wrong order to the wrong table. Even the bill at the end had to go back twice to be amended. Even then the itemisation was still wrong, I lost the will to live at this point, paid and left. Shame as it was my mums birthday weekend.
