"We visited yesterday and had a great time. I ordered the chicken and mushroom pie with chips, while my friend had a burger with double the toppings. For dessert, we shared the cookie dough pizza which was incredible. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future."

This pub is absolutely fantastic. The staff are all really nice, and the food is delicious though a bit pricey. The portion sizes are good, and it's hard to resist the 2 for 1 pudding offer.

Had a meal here last night,,the steak and ale pie was lovely, ,the waitress and the barmaid were ever so pleasant,,felt like more staff were needed as it was quite busy,overall a good experience ,,,will be back.

Whenever I'm in Bangor, this is always my top choice for a hearty pub meal. It's straightforward and no-nonsense, with generous portions. I always go for the steak and ale pie with a pint of Guinness, and I've never been disappointed. You can't go wrong with this place.
