"I've always come to here as a treat every Sunday with family but after the last visit I've been totally put off. I have a son who is thankfully 1.5 years sobre for him to realise on the food menu it's was *beer battered onion rings* as stupid as this may sound he didn't want to risk his alcohol recovery so he just asked if he could have either normal onion rings or swap. For the lady man to come back in discust made a massive deal about it to say NO very bluntly without asking him or offering maybe to swap with something else. So not only did they do that he also paid for a meal that had hardly anything on his plate due to a substantial amount of onion rings missing and also we waited 2hour wait for food but we was nice enough to sit enjoy as its understandable we really do not complain so this is importantthis does not happen again to anybody, There was a table of two of us so we are disappointed to say the least as we had to buy 4x soft drinks EACH that cost £20 EACH before our meal even got to us it was that long. Poor customer service, You should be ashamed of yourselfs as a restaurant. If you can't respect someone you shouldn't be welcoming people into your restaurant as fake false advertisement terrible behaviour to someone who's trying in life. Alls you had to do was understand explain you couldn't do that (even though you could) ask him if he would like to swap or replace the onion rings. Its really not that hard to be nice. You have lost a a good family who has been with you from the beginning! Service: 1"

Love this place! We've been several times for breakfast and lunch and I've always had delicious food and great service. They are really accommodating with our little one which is greatly appreciated too. The rooms are also lovely and very comfortable.

Fantastic dining experience! We chose this restaurant for a work dinner because the company has been here before. I had never been, so I went for their signature burger. It was cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. The portion was so large that I had to use a knife and fork to eat it. It was served with onion rings and fries. I couldn't find anything to complain about. I will definitely be back!

The best burger I've ever had! The fries were fantastic as well. We also tried the chocolate brownie with honey ice cream and the Eton mess, both of which were perfect and bursting with flavor. The service was quick, and our waitress was polite and friendly — even the chef came out from the kitchen to chat with us. The atmosphere was brilliant. We will definitely return, and I highly recommend trying the sensational food!

The best pub food, the best breakfasts, the best teas and coffee. We visit most weeks and love this place. Warm welcome, superb staff, fantastic food, what's not to love. The manager is a wonderful man who makes everyone feel welcome and this relays into his staff who are also always accommodating and polite, warm and friendly with super service at every step. The perfect place to eat, sleep and enjoy. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 View menu

This restaurant is situated in a beautiful location and offers a selection of above-average pub and restaurant dishes. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing, free from loud music. It's also easily accessible. While the menu isn't extensive, the quality of the dishes is very high. My only concern was that the duck main course was cooked a bit on the rare side. It would be beneficial if the waitstaff asked how customers prefer their meat cooked, similar to the way they do for steaks. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. It's a pity they don't have Blue Nun on the wine list.

Made a booking there to celebrate my birthday, got a nice corner seat and it was dog friendly. Plenty of parking, nice and clean toilets. Food in general was good the 2 times I visited, would've highly recommended if it wasn't for the tiny incident. I really enjoyed the specials menu of the lamb rump I ordered, with the spiced potatoes and tzatziki sauce. The Jerusalem artichoke and apricot salad was very very good, artichoke cooked at right level of crispiness. Chicken buttermilk looked good, chips were nice. However, one of our guest ordered the fish cake and ended up having food poisoning right after, seems like something wasn't agreeing.
