"Recently attended a gourmet evening at the farthing and I must say i have run out of superlatives. The food was excellent and having opted for the wine paring the semillion was perfect. Took the time to explain each choice and gave insight into the history of each glass. Food was more than amazing. Be prepared and open to try new things as this is a set menu and wine paring but if you want a spectacular evening, book in! Brilliant"

Had a great time at penny farthing at recent steak night. Excellent, friendly service from Matthew jones. Love this place as a meet and greet with friends for breakfast/ lunch or coffee too

I took a friend here on the 21st April 2022. We had such a lovely time . The food was amazing and the staff so welcoming and curtious, we had a long and leisurely lunch with pressure about how much time we had spent there. Thankyou for your service shall definitely be coming back.

Fantastic place with exceptional staff. I brought my 5 year old daughter and 4 year old niece for a fairy and mermaid princess afternoon tea. They were met and welcomed at the door as ‘real’ princesses with balloons and a twist to the food to suit their age. Needless to say they went home happy, full of cake and sandwiches. The staff and manager made their day.
