"It had been a while since our last visit, but we had a pleasant experience this time. The tuna and prawn baguettes were lacking in flavor, but we enjoyed sitting in the garden. A friendly local Labrador retriever even jumped on our table and finished off our leftovers as we made our way back to the car, so nothing went to waste. The food service ends at 2:15pm, but despite arriving around 2:10pm, they happily accommodated us. We will definitely be returning again."

Welcoming old pub in the heart of the Kent countryside with wonderful views over the Downs. Great service from friendly and helpful waiters. Extensive menu, food very good and reasonably priced. Have been before and will visit again.

This charming pub is located in a stunning setting. Keep in mind that they have rural opening hours, so make sure to check before visiting. The food is delicious, but the only reason I didn't give it a perfect 5-star rating is because of the limited beer selection.
