The Peppered Pig - Menu

The atmosphere of the restaurant is delightful and the food is exceptional. However, the service was slow and the staff seemed in a bad mood. This would have been understandable if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't. Rating: Service - 3, Location - 5.

The service at this restaurant is exceptional. The food is delicious but on the pricier side. It was a bit difficult to find the restaurant when meeting up with friends, as the signs were not very visible. Overall, service was rated 5 out of 5 and location was rated 2 out of 5.

Only stopped here for breakfast. Really nice quality ingredients, but for some of the dishes there needs to be more of them. E.g. the poached eggs and avocado on toast serving is quite small for the price of £10. Only 1 slice of toast and 1 egg. I would definitely eat here again though! They do really nice coffees too

Had afternoon tea in Lola was amazing I am mad on vwcampervan the service was excellent could not do enough and very friendly the afternoon tea was brilliant two and because we don’t drink we did get the chance to have a soft drink instead off the wine on offer would definitely revisit to try the food in the pub it looked lovely thanks again

Everything was amazing, service from the owner, bar waiter's, waitress, the loverly ladies that clean the rooms and the food was simple perfect and served hot. we had a bank holiday on Monday looking for something on the country. about this place pampered and we were really thrilled by our delicious meal in a quiet opposite. all staff were very friendly. the owner showed us around some of the rooms after dinner, which are beautifully decorated to a very high standard. we will definitely book a room for a relaxing break. 5* plus

We happened to be in the area without a reservation and called Peppered Pig. They were able to accommodate us on short notice on a Saturday night, which we greatly appreciated. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The dessert menu had plenty of options, including specials, so we ended up ordering one to enjoy and one to take home for the next day. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we will definitely return if we are in the area again. Service: 5 stars.

Now, what can I say, first visit well impressed would recommend this to anyone who wants to change from the normal pubs. I personally had steak and boiled to perfection. what can I tell them in the deserted and friend had the common pudding it spot on carmel ice and profiterole and cream brûlée to the chocolate cheesecake. But add the person who was the fudge, also on the plate. I've been costing a long time, thank you for putting me some in the bag for me home. they should sell this excellently in the shop. I myself and two friends give you the five stars

I have been to peppered pig a couple of times but years ago and really enjoyed it so suggested we booked to go for a girls meal out. There were 8 of us. The service were very poor, I wouldn’t mind if it were busy but there was only a couple other people in there, quite shocking for a Saturday night. Waited ages for drinks then had to get up and find the waitress to order more drinks, tables were not cleared very well, long blonde hair found in the fish batter. Menu very poor, simple and boring, not the menu it was when I visited a couple of years ago. The cheese board looked like it had been hacked at and huge slabs of cheese were served.
