"I don't even know where to begin....since I moved back to Hucknall, I have been to this restaurant for breakfast numerous times. I usually enjoy a cheeky Wetherspoons breakfast, but I keep coming back here, which is a mistake. The breakfast here is very disappointing compared to what you would expect in a city. It's rare to get a properly cooked egg, even when ordering the worst eggs Benedict I've ever had. The quality of the food is terrible, and the customer service is lacking, making me feel like a fool for expecting anything different. I've even been ignored when I've had issues with my meal because they know it's not up to scratch. Even when I went in for a drink one night, I was told to wait while the bartender served his friends who couldn't decide what to drink. After waiting for 12 minutes, I walked out. Whether it's day or night, this place is a joke. I used to be a fan of Wetherspoons, but definitely not in Hucknall. The only good thing about this place is the long-serving staff member who does a great job despite working for a subpar company. It's a shame he has to serve such subpar food. #F*&k spoons, support your local pub instead. They actually care about their customers."

Just want to take time to mention the lovely young lady behind the bar Rosie she is such a delight extremely helpful she remembers what drinks we have and always service with a smile .

Walked in, sat down, walked straight back out again! Very dark and dull atmosphere with no smiles from anyone.. a lot of whetherspoons’ I’ve visited such as woodthorpe top and the ernehale have been a much more pleasant, restaurant like feel

The restaurant doesn't have a great atmosphere and isn't a suitable choice for a romantic night out with my wife. However, the beer is very affordable and there is a wide selection to choose from. If you're looking to save money or just want to have a fun night out with friends, then this restaurant is a good option. For a more romantic evening, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. Despite tables around us receiving their food at a slow pace, we were completely ignored and had to leave to eat elsewhere. It's frustrating when establishments don't treat all customers equally. This lack of service is especially damaging considering the current economic climate, as more shutdowns are likely to occur if customers feel unwelcome in local businesses. View menu

Ordered starters and mains for family of 4. Staff wanted to bring out all food at same time! Brought mains out which had to be taken back. Starters then brought out..literally thrown onto table with no cutlery. No sauces available, surly staff member could not be less bothered! Understand not his fault but an apology on behalf of pub would not go amiss. Note to staff you may not enjoy your work, but no need to make it so obvious to customers who pay your wages.

Called in last night for the curry night…. Have to admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. 2 curries and 2 drinks for 17 pounds … I had Korma, wife had masala. Both were excellent. Ordered from the app was told it was quicker). Drinks arrived 2 mins later and meals about 2 minutes after The curries were very good. I have had much worse for twice the price. Admittedly you could have a better one from an authentic Indian restaurant, but you would be paying upwards of 40 pounds there…… Well done Wetherspoons,, great value for money
