"Although the cellar is in itself from the road, we had a little effort to find it. we are not used to address like “The Diamond”, which only a small type of advanced semicircle of business. So, we were late for our reservation, but the people couldn't have been nicer. I had a delicious caesar salad for an appetizer; my man had an amazing smoked salmon appetizer with crimped cheese. then we had both the prosciutto rolled monk and a chocolate strawberry routine for dessert. everything was fresh and delicious. service was very friendly and helpful. we also loved the cozy atmosphere. all in all a wonderful culinary experience on the first day in Northern Ireland!"

"After they did not know that the black bell was not available, they took my order (1of 6 people eating) only to the table a substituted black flour I did not order. about half of me I asked to check the order they confirmed that the server should have noticed that the black bell was not available and not to communicate this on the menu at the time of ordering. they are excused, but do not try to remove it from the bill or offer an alternative. I didn't pay the bill (another family member was treated), so I didn't want to press this point to disturb the night. In addition, two other fishmeals have not put their next orders on the table. I went on recommended by men, but in this case I was not happy with the experience."

"Went down Ballycastle town for dinner. We had wanted fish and chips and had heard there was a nice chipper at the waterfront but because it was Monday evening it was closed. So Marconi’s restaurant was close by and we managed to get a table. First we waited ages to be served. We didn’t really mind that because we were glad of the table when we hadn’t made a booking. Eventually we were served. Then it took another age for the food to be served. Three out of four of us ordered the battered fish and chips and my daughter ordered the beef burger. When the food came I knew straight away that it wasn’t going to be a nice meal. The battered fish pon all three plates was overcooked to a very dark brown colour with the ends being rock hard crispy. It was also so so greasy. Obviously it is deep fried fish but it’s deep fried everywhere else we get the same dish and the batter is always light and fluffy. We didn’t complain because we were absolutely starving at this stage. The chunky chips were alright, again overcooked but not as much as the fish. It also came with mushy peas. We ate the dish, I shared a small bit with my daughter cause I couldn’t finish it because it was horrible. My sons complained about it also but they ate theirs. We paid up and left. The young members of staff were nice and polite. I left a tip because of that, not the food. When we went back to the hotel all three of us felt a bit sick after the meal. I felt the worst and went to bed hoping to go asleep. An hour and a half later I ended up vomiting the entire meal back up. The boys didn’t. They still felt a bit sick, they said it was one of the worst meals they’ve ever had. I don’t think the fish was in any way gone off, it was the disgusting batter. Surely a restaurant that seems to specialise in fish dishes could manage a nice battered fish. Seemingly not. My daughter said her burger was fine, not bad, not good, just fine. Complete waste of money. Also, I saw a senior member of staff clapping her hands to get the attention of customers to bring them to their table. I was shocked at that behaviour."

"Just ordered three dashers via grubhub. Upon delivery I was missing one item and the other two were unsealed in an open bag which must've tipped over at some point thus causing the content to splatter all over the inside of the bag. Oh and I actually received a phone call from carvel employee to inform me they were out of banana so we switched to another item however when I called back to explain I was missing an item and the other two items painted the inside of the bag the phone number was no longer in service! Tried three times, same not in service message. This place is horrible !!! Don't walk RUN away , up the block to coldstone!! Thank you grubhub for my refund, my coldstone is on the way !"

"Yesterday, we ordered a topping from the seafood section of the menu, and it was brought to our table right away, accompanied by warm crusty bread. I was amazed at how such a simple dish as mussels could be transformed into a delightful culinary experience—the chef here clearly has a special touch! The sauce paired beautifully with the rustic bread, enhancing the mussels perfectly. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. What more could you ask for? I will definitely be back!"
