"This was our second visit after our first visit two weeks earlier. So disappointed with the poor service quality or the food. My lasagne was over cooked.those that had scampi in the basket was the worse I have seen over cooked not sure if there were scampi in them. We had a very long wait to be served. On mentioning to the waitress that I had an appointment to keep when ordering the deserts over a half hour later we got our deserts. The waitress was very surly.. I could had put in a big complaint at the time. But did not want to upset the family. Although the setting is lovely. a shame this service spoilt the day. I have decided not to return."

A friendly welcome and excellent food awaits here. Situated in the characterful village of Wolverley the Queen's Head accepts well behaved dogs and has inside and outside seating areas. Close by is Wolverley Camping and Caravan site, a pleasant stroll.

Saw the sign for 2 courses for lunch at £9.95 as passing the pub the other day. Menu is short and simple but meals are beyond what we expected. Chips are huge and plates were full. Best burger I've had in a long time. Desserts were gorgeous. Will be going again without a doubt. So pleased we tried this gem. Many thanks for such a lovely meal at a bargain price with friendly staff. View menu

4 excellent meals from the ‘2 courses for £9.99’ mains and deserts. Good variety good portions and lovely home made deserts. As the website is being rebuilt there is no menu online but be assured of home cooked food and very pleasant service. We will be pleased to visit again when we next stay at the nearby caravan and camping site. Must not forget an excellent ale on draught! Thankyou

Such a long time since I went to the queen's head but had heard good reports.always a dark pub but had been brightened up a bit .Service was good cavery was OK and pudding was delicious , bit over the top price for carvery, but all in all a pleasant lunchtime. My biggest complaint was the toilets the locks on the doors were broken and all in all very run down they really do need a total refurbishment.

Known this pub for my entire life. Seen it at its best and very worst. Pleased to say it appears to be very much back on the up. You can't beat the location, peaceful and a stunning village. Great to see customers returning. Can't beat the value for money, £9.95 for two courses. Friendly service even when the member of staff was on her own and very busy, polite and attentive. Will definitely return. View menu

We stayed just up the road at the campsite so we thought we would give the Queens a go. Glad we did as the food was very good and the two courses for 9.99 menu is excellent value. Good choice menu and the desert 's are superb! Decent pint ,well decorated pub with lots of pumpkins and squashes around the bar. Not been to this pub for 42 years but so glad we made the return visit. Thank you The Queens .

Second visit in past months and since I was slightly critical last time, I thought I would give a more positive account. The outside is now finished with a novelty UK table, there is a different food menu with prices more in line with other local establishments midweek 2 courses for £9.95) , but the excellent food and presentation remains. Good value for money and a novel way of presenting a sweet menu)!
