We went out for a family members birthday last night. The overall experience was ok, but was made so much better for the fantastic team member called Louise (blonde hair). Well done Louise, excellent customer service

Came here for Dinner with the family the other day and I’m massively disappointed. Food was cold, and the service was rubbish. Feels like the servers are just clueless kids who have too much to say. Won’t be returning.

Breakfast with Santa absolutely made my sons year. All the staff were so attentive and friendly, Santa was brilliant, really authentic, made time for all the children there, individual meet and greets and none of it was rushed. Met with friends for Sunday lunch. Good choice of meals to pick from. We all had something different to eat and the food was hot and plentiful. Always room for a desert on a Sunday, and those were also good value. The meals are reasonably priced, service is great, staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again

My partner and I recently moved to the area and decided to stop by this restaurant for a couple of drinks. We were greeted by Louise who introduced us to their new drinks menu and then impressed us with her fantastic cocktails! We also tried some small plates, including the delicious squid and halloumi fries. Thanks to Louise for making us feel welcome.

Absolutely awful tea time meals. Hunters chicken was microwaved that much sauce was hard and congealed. Fish and chips batter was tough as old boots Burger brioche bun was that hard you couldn't chew through it!! All kitchen staff were young asked for a water bowl for dog and girl asked if I wanted hot or cold water!! So disappointed as it was a birthday celebration…never go back again!!!!!! View menu

I would love to drink here more as I can't fault the staff and great service they provide for their customers. So friendly and welcoming. However, the brewery have raised the prices of the drinks yet again (not the fault of the staff) but disappointing from Greene King, as this is atleast the third time. But a great place to go for a drink and to see mates. A great atmosphere. Fantastic for watching the footie, loads of screens and great music.

We waited for an hour for our food to be brought to us, I ordered a vegetarian roast- it came with no main and no gravy (although clearly states it should on the menu and website) Other family members were left disappointed with their watery gravy, asked for it to be thickened up, to which they did, but brought out 10 minutes later after being reminded. Roasties and Yorkies were both overdone but the veg was nice. Other meals ordered were lovely, hot and plentiful, just a shame their service and roast let them down.

This restaurant experience was very disappointing. Our family of seven waited over an hour for our meals, which were brought out at different times. There was no vegetarian gravy available, and the vegetarian roast only consisted of potatoes and vegetables with an overcooked Yorkshire pudding. The roast potatoes were extremely overcooked and tasted reheated. One family member enjoyed the curry option, but we wish we had all chosen that. We were given a £15 voucher for any Greene King establishment as compensation. The bar staff was excellent with prompt drink service, but overall it was an awful experience. View menu
