"Had a really nice meal here. Loved the triple cooked chips and the batter on the fish was light and not greasy. Seem to have a great kitchen as the quality of the food coming out of it was superb. Having a sly look around the room at other people's foods also proved favourable. The only downside to it in all honesty are the toilets. As it's an old pub they are a little rundown and the usual waterless urinals are a bit whiffy. Maybe a refurb or indeed an air freshener could make it feel less like a high street pub toilet. Sorry but that's the truth. Please remember the food is excellent though. Definitely worth a visit. Absolutely intend to go again. Loved it."

Did not eat here, just a drink and packet of crisps. Service was good, and it was quiet, but that's because we were there around 2.30 pm. Good selection of drinks on tap.

This was my first visit to The Red Cow for about 5 years, and I was pleasantly surprised. There was a wide range of beers available, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Food was superb. We had relatives from the USA with us, and they were very impressed.

Ate here tonight on an unplanned meal out. Quite busy at 6pm but able to get a table easily. No of people in created a good atmosphere. We had a pizza and the Penang curry plus drinks. Food was very nice and service by Lizzie was professional and attentive without being intrusive.

Have been coming here for years as the food is beautiful. Very friendly staff especially Lucy who accommodated us with a large group of people after we attended a funeral. She was very sensitive to our needs. The food was delicious and serviced promptly by Tilly who was very professional. Well done team.

Lovely food and good service. (I can recommend the pork belly), We arrived early at 12.30 for Sunday lunch. The only minor downside was that we were seated in an alcove where there were already a number of other people, the main part of the pub area was vacant. Parking was conveniently situated at the side of the pub.

Service was great from Kim for food and drinks in the restaurant. The young lad in the bar was very rude and didn’t look happy to be working. He offended myself and a few other customers due to his lack of care or concern. Didn’t respond when ordering and didn’t acknowledge us at all. He let the otherwise great team down

Booked for Christmas lunch. Welcomed in and shown to table ...Excellent service from friendly and experienced staff. Great food. We were looked after very well. Great to know that homely and comfortable inns still exist. Look forward to our next visit. Would heartily recommend. Thank you to all at Red Cow keep up the good vibes.

Very speedy service. The waitress was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were served quickly with not long to waIt. The same with our drinks order and for puddings. The waitress was patient and helpful with our young child asking her what she wanted too. The meals were served hot and looked appealing. Food was delicious. Can't think what you can improve-although do love offers to help with the cost.

Booked a table for 4.30pm this afternoon that clearly stated with a high chair. Arrived on time to be told our table of 6 didn’t have a high chair the gentleman couldn’t tell us how long the wait would be either. They have 3 high chairs available in a whole restaurant.having a meal with a 21 month baby with no high chair would be physically impossible. We had to leave. Next time I would suggest if a booking is made that stipulates a high chair you make one available.
