"the restaurant stands for fine dining in hotel dolder grand. in general, this relaxed perfection is noticeable in the dolder, which makes large houses. The location over the roofs of zürich also contributes to this. The restaurant presents itself in the elegance with a great backing, with pleasantly generous table spacings. The journey through the kitchen of the in the truest sense of the excellent chef heiko low begins with a surprise. the sweetness to the refreshment of the hands is “served” as a court – only after the addition of liquid – just as with a sosse – it unfolds in the deep plateer. exciting and exceptional. The composition of the tasting menu changes depending on the season and so we were surprised that the menu was no longer the same as a day before on the website. this is only mentioned at the rande – this certainly has not been a break in the overall experience – because this was at the expected high level. The courses are presented as lovingly created miniatures and well explained by the very friendly staff. tastefully all creations were excellent and balanced in themselves as well as in succession, no dish very sour or very sharp or otherwise extreme. I would like to make the question open, however, whether a more concise, at least once, could not have been enough to be advantageous. The tasteful properties of the products used, in spite of some minimal use (dripping), harmonized very well. the pairing of the very matching weine with always unusually different character was perfect. everything was beautifully presented. you don't forget that fast.It was an extraordinary evening for us. thanks to the chef, his brigarde and the friendly service. very relaxing also the informal yet high-class environment and atmosphere. no question of one of the best restaurants in zürich – if not the best. For special occasions you can also see the very respectable obulus that you have to be prepared for such an experience."

I liked best the excellent service and the formal but relaxed atmosphere, but even more (much much more) the unforgettable masterpieces the kitchen served to the table. The tastes, ahhhh what tastes. Most exquisite!

The restaurant at Dolder is one of the best restaurant in Zurich. I can especially recommend "The Epicure" which takes place on a yearly basis where the local chef and a guest chef are "battling" each other. Always perfect and exquisit food in combination with an excellent service. Also expect a stunning view in front of the hotel.

the kitchen of heiko lower is highly refined, perfectly executed, with personal handwriting: more daring combinations of meat or fish with fruits, delicate miniatures, with a certain playfulness yet of absolutely uncompromising quality.Excellent, competent, lovable service. the interieur recalls a luxurious nightclub of the 80s. In the toilets there are no frotté towels, but a sack-lower paper towel dispenser of bahnofsgaststättenebene View menu

We were impressed by this gastronomic table, side 18 gm and 2 stars at the michelin. service was impeccable, cared and efficient. all the servers have given themselves the trouble to speak to us in an excellent English, by detailing each time all the dishes. the tasting menu of 12 dishes (amuses-drinks 2 "food welcome" mignardises homemade chocolates) at the price of 298.- is truly of an exceptional quality/price ratio. I've done it again.

Were here for the second time. First time was a few years ago and werent blown away. Second time was amazing. One of the most refined dinners we had. Service and food impeccable. No wonder this is considered one of the best restaurants in...Switzerland. As a plus, you will see the Dolder Grand Hotel which is a wonderful property overlooking the city. Prices are high but commensurate with the level of quality in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Will definitely return for special occasions or when foodie friends from abroad are in town.

I'm going to start saying that the environment was fantastic, but in any case that's only another good thing that this restaurant have. From the moment that we started with the service I was surprised because all that were coming to our table was incredible tasty and really a culinary masterpieces. From the beginning to the end of our amazing dining I was impressed. In my opinion they deserve the 2 Michelin stars that they have, and the Chef of this gourmet cuisine is one of the Best ,but not only in Switzerland. I'll highly recommend It ,specially to the people who enjoy having a good food. View menu

on a hot summer day out on the terrace. the reception by the service staff is of selected courtesy. the entrance with a series of small vegetarian amuse bulges is excellent - this will turn out for us as a highlight of the evening. we are not completely convinced of the 8-speed menu: only the half of the walks has really tasted us well, and the portions are very small. without the fine brot that is given at the beginning, we would probably be with starving in the bed. very well looked after by the service staff. we also have a very nice impression from the one who inquired about the well-being before dessert.

who really starved is here of course wrong, it is - typical gourmet - about the pure pleasure and the pretty representation on the tellers, which is also very successful. qualitatiw was eating very fine. the many small amuse-bouche were a joyful of the sea, fancy and a pretty idea. the service was attentive. Too bad, there is no à la carte, but you can only choose between 2 preset menus. I am aware that this is probably the desired presentation of chef Koch heiko, but I would like to note this point. which has really disturbed us: there is no need for a clothing style. we found it very unpleasant and inappropriate to eat between T-shirts and flip flops our 700 chf menu. 18 Gault Millau point...

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."

"My recent visit to Edi's Pizzeria in downtown Zurich was an absolute delight from start to finish. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that truly set the tone for the entire experience. First and foremost, I must commend the staff for their exceptional service. Every member of the team was not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that my dining experience was nothing short of perfection. From offering recommendations to promptly refilling drinks, their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the food. As a vegetarian, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants that offer delicious meat-free options, and Edi's Pizzeria exceeded my expectations. Their Veggie pizza was an absolute masterpiece, boasting a flavorful combination of fresh vegetables and savory toppings atop a perfectly crisp crust. Each bite was a culinary delight, bursting with robust flavors that left me craving more. Beyond the food and service, the ambiance of Edi's Pizzeria further elevated my dining experience. The cozy yet vibrant atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for enjoying a delicious meal with friends or family. Whether you're seeking a casual lunch spot or a cozy dinner destination, Edi's Pizzeria offers the ideal setting for any occasion. In conclusion, my visit to Edi's Pizzeria was nothing short of exceptional. From the friendly and attentive staff to the mouthwatering food and inviting ambiance, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Edi's Pizzeria to anyone in search of a memorable dining experience in Zurich!"
