"I love Caribbean food, all the big flavours, the homely cooking , the spiciness, everything is pretty amazing. There are more and more Caribbean restaurants opening in London with quite a few good ones in Notting Hill, Brixton, and Shoreditch. Last night we visited The Rum Kitchen in Notting Hill and really loved the funkiness of the place as well as their huge list of rum based cocktails. The starters were the highlight of the night, we had the spicy chicken wings which were finger licking delicious and just the right level of spiciness. For main I had the soft shell crab burger which I had quite high expectations but fell a bit flat. I would have loved a bit more spiciness and...read more"

Dull menu with a very limited Jamaican selection. Clearly proof that Jamaicans havre gravitated elsewhere to eat.

The Rum Kitchen is a Caribbean inspired beach shack restaurant perfectly placed in the middle of Notting Hill. Given away by it's name, The Rum Kitchen has a beautifully lite cellar home to over different types of rum.

the burger was uncooked, my parents were overcooked and soggy-back, the chips good I wouldn't even feed them to my dog. my daughter said that the nuggets were in order, the tweeled rings and keile were the only brilliant thing, so a shame cooked

sometimes people say that this place is overestimated, some people say that the service is bad. I liked my time in the rum kitchen, her Jerk chicken is quite awesome and so is her sweet potato frits. they also have quite decent nights (although somewhat expensive).

‘Wings Day’, a Caribbean feast of all you can eat wings, sweet potato fries and a beer or rum punch, for every Wednesday. I’ve been invited along to the launch and find myself quickly enamored, with little to report back that a few, fat, chicken-breathed kisses couldn’t say better. Attractive, no?

Mr K charles. Me and my family turned up just before happy hour finished, bought three drinks sorry happy hour doesn't apply to that drinks menu to late to change my mind Couldn't read the menu in that dark place, I had jerk wings for starter no jerk on the wings My main course was jerk chicken leg and thigh grilled with cal loo and rice and peas what a joke the chicken was a little fillet overall to expensive and still no jerk View menu

After we fought over the Hafenobello street market yesterday, we worked up a bit of appetit, so we decided to check the rum kitchen, a Caribbean themed that is just behind the market street. it is a relaxed, funny, young place where they play reggae in the background, as tables of people drinking rum cocktails and chow on some great food we were there just before, which meant that we were there, shortly before the brunch menu I hoped to try their chicken wings and salt fish, but sadly they did not serve again, until later in the dark, which I simply have to visit

We went to The Rum Kitchen to drink. But all that changed when we saw the Caribbean menu, so most of our pennies were spent on food. A typical day in the life of Little Lady Eats. Located on All Saints Road in Notting Hill, the large, open plan restaurant is bright and colourful with wooden floors, walls, tables and a long bar at one end. The staff are infectiously bubbly, eager to tell you about the food and cocktails so you too hold their enthusiasm. We were in between lunch and dinner, so stuck to starters. Saltfish Fritters with grilled lime ‘n’ chilli jam was a favourite, with each doughy, spicy ball as moreish than the last. The Jerk Chicken Wings were sticky...read more
