"We ordered takeout from here last night and it was great. The portion sizes were fantastic and the food was high quality. It was as close to eating out as we could have asked for without actually being able to eat out and made a lovely change from the normal, greasy takeout food that is available from most other places. If you want some good, proper food I'd recommend ordering from here. It's a little bit pricier than most takeouts but that's to be expected given the difference in food quality and the fact that you're paying for proper pub food so, for us, worth paying a bit extra. I'm looking forward to eating my leftovers for lunch today and we will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you so much"

We enjoyed a Sunday carvery with my family today, and it was the best I've ever had—and also the most affordable! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Price per person: £30-£40. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.

I made a reservation for six people at this restaurant, and I was impressed by the courteous, friendly, and attentive staff. The space is spacious, offering plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We each ordered something different from the menu, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would definitely come back for more dining and drinks!

Absolutely wonderful dining experience! I highly recommend the dipped bread and olives; the chili was exactly how chili should be. The falafel was outstanding and unlike anything I've seen on a menu before. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great service and a warm welcome. We'll definitely return because I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

We waited two hours to be served food that was, at best, mediocre convenience fare. The soggy salad, which tasted like it was at least three days old, was the final straw. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and, even after sending them back, they returned just as lumpy. Overall, it was quite disappointing. A colleague and I had lunch today with one of our customers, and we were thoroughly impressed. Right away, we were greeted by a very friendly staff who seated us at a comfortable table. The food options were fantastic, especially the two mains for £15.00 menu. Our meals arrived quickly and were beautifully presented, showcasing excellent quality. Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was attentive and cheerful throughout our visit. The restaurant itself is wonderful, with a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful decor, and a lovely outdoor area. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

"I’m really sorry to have to write this review, as we’ve been to Bake My Day approx in excess of 20 times in the past. We often come with friends and all of us feel the same and agree with comments below. Food is of good quality, although portion sizes vary I ordered avocado on toast and paid £2.50 for extra bacon; it came with 1 slice of bacon which is disappointing. they can’t accommodate children. I asked for 1 2 scrambled eggs and beans for our 18 month old and was told everything is pre packaged into adult portions therefore I’d have to order from the adult menu. I can’t understand why it’s too much trouble to cook 2 scrambled eggs and put some beans in a pan. Also, is it really that fresh if everything is pre made??? staff are very hit and miss. Sometimes friendly but often a bit stand off ish. We often don’t feel that welcome (plenty of other reviews also mention this). food timings. Food often comes late and we rarely eat together. We ordered 4 breakfasts (5 including the child’s) and there was 25 mins between the first and last arriving. finally the cost. We often get a cake/flapjack to take away and the bill is always around the £50 mark. I don’t mind paying for good food but when I pay £50 for 2 people and a child to have breakfast I expect exceptional service. We pay approx £90 100 between the 4 of us and this price is similar to 5* and Michelin establishments in Leeds and York such as The Ivy and The Star In The City. Unfortunately the 4 of us have decided that this is the last straw for us which is disappointing as we like to support small local businesses. If it’s too much trouble to make some scrambled eggs and beans for my daughter, and if it’s too hard to ensure all 4 breakfasts come out at the same time, and if it’s too hard to be welcoming to customers, especially when I’m paying £50 for breakfast, then I’ll take my custom elsewhere."
