"We visited the Square Orange three times during our stay in the area. We have been here several times over the years and each time we have received excellent service, food, and drinks. It was no different on these occasions – absolutely fabulous. On two occasions, we had dinner and drinks, and on the other, we just had coffee. During our visits, we tried the 'Pizza of the Moment', several tapas, olives, baked camembert, and a selection of beers. The staff provided excellent service on every visit – they are friendly, polite, and helpful. The restaurant always seems to be busy, which is a good sign that they are doing things right. Despite being busy, the staff is still very attentive and appears to pride themselves on providing excellent service. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and the background music is just right. The food is well-cooked and tasty, with a thin pizza crust that is perfect. They offer a good selection of beers, both on tap and bottled, with several local options. The coffee was also very enjoyable. Considering the size of the restaurant, it's impressive how they maintain such consistent excellent service. We will definitely be returning when we are next in the area. We loved it."

What a delightful place! We had a lovely meal, the pizzas are excellent, the buratta to die for and the service super friendly. Reasonably priced in a upper cosy authentic setting. We would love to return!

Fantastic pizzas a nice selection on offer to suit the vegetarian and meat eaters amongst our group. Friendly service and a nice environment. We went after 8pm when it was a little quieter and we didn’t need to queue.

Very good quality small plates and very reasonably priced. We had chorizo, baked camembert and patatas bravad. Pizzas also of a good quality. Place was busy with a good atmosphere. Drink service could be a little quicker but overall a very enjoyable visit.

Our visit to this restaurant was thoroughly enjoyable. We loved the food, found the drinks selection interesting (including Kwak Belgian beer!), and were impressed by the great service and ambience. We were fortunate enough to be seated right away without having to wait. View menu

What a great find whilst we were visiting the area. Lovely, friendly and very helpful staff. There were no tables when we fist arrived but we had a lovely cocktail at the bar whilst we waited. We didn’t wait too long, about 20 mins and there was such a great ambiance it really didn’t matter. We ordered a pizza to share and 3 tapas, all excellent and washed down with some lovely Shiraz. The atmosphere was buzzy and great and we really didn’t want to leave but people were waiting for a table. Just great

We have walked by this restaurant several times this week and it is always busy. They do not take reservations, so we opted for a late lunch. The menu is fantastic with a variety of interesting options. We shared a few dishes including the popular nachos and pizzas, which we enjoyed. The meatballs were delicious, and the waiter was kind enough to adjust the sauce for our daughter who doesn't like spicy food. I would definitely try the baked Camembert next time as it looked delicious. The cocktails also looked fantastic and I would be interested in trying them another time. The coffee was excellent. Overall, all the dishes that came out while we were there looked great, and judging by the emp...

"I would have loved to rate our dining experience at the Ivy House a lot higher but we were to leave somewhat disappointed. The dining area was pleasant and intimate with well appointed decor, the waitress and waiters pleasant, polite and attentive. The varied menu looked very appetising with most tastes catered for. We chose two courses from the main menu, the Duck Breast and a Fish Dish for myself. Contrary to other reviews we were to wait over 40 minutes before the food was presented to us. We were not advised of any delays or even the expected length of time we might have to wait. The food on arrival was well presented and flavoursome although I did not consider two small stem broccoli spears a serving. I also asked the waiter why there was no Samphire to accompany my dish as stated on the menu, this comment was also reinforced by a fellow diner who ate the same dish just prior to me. The waiter advised me that he would ask the chef. I did not receive a response to my question during further table service and subsequently asked the waiter again. On returning the waiter advised me the chef said “he will try to remember to put it on next time”, a somewhat disrespectful comment. The Cheese platter we were presented with was lacklustre and sparse, quince jelly and a small dish of chutney being the predominant feature. For ourselves we did not feel that our dining experience represented good value for money."
