"very pleased. led by meghan. she was beautiful, friendly, attentive and made excellent recommendations. people could decide to eat inside or outside and there was a lot of space. the inner of the pub was extremely interesting and it was great to have mats on the deck. it is worth having a look around how the interieur is unique. Moreover, it is obvious that much attention has been given to the outside of the pub. the prices were extremely reasonable and the menu was varied. they offered excellent starters as well as a large selection of burgers. the portions are generous and beautifully presented. I recommend this place. the food was excellent, the inner of the place was great and the levels of the service could not have been better."

Just lovely. Garden area is narrow, but look at the photo- I love that! Definitely I recommend Pizza evening on Thursdays! Every worker was very pleasant and professional. Well deserved 5 stars, well done guys!

A very interesting period pub with a focus on cider offerings. The pub regularly changes the ciders (and even the occasional mead) on offer so every visit is an adventure in its own right. The pub gets busy most evenings, but there's plenty of seated areas as the venue goes back quite away, including into a well covered area of the garden.

The Star Inn is a lovely place! Whilst we didn't sit in the inside, from what I saw the interior is so very warm and cosy. The garden is very cosy! It may seem a bit narrow, but it isn't difficult to navigate. The bar staff are really nice I get nervous about ordering at the bar, but their friendliness put me at ease. Their bar food is really nice.

large selection of ales, always perfectly held, including their own brewery at location! the personal is always beautiful and the eating is excellent, especially sunday roasts (including the veggie! . the pub has a really nice atmosphere and a beautiful small beer garden that is a real sunfall. probably my favorite pub in the country. I just wish I lived closer!

I love this old pub! very nice and friendly staff, and it was as beautiful as old and authentic the pub felt. many nooks and cranes to explore! had a great guiness. we also tried the Camembert bites that were delicious but not incredible. I'm sure their main and roasting would have been more impressive. large space overall, would love to go back when in godalming again!
