The best pub I’ve visited in a long time. Great variety of drinks and a fantastic food menu, also a very nice garden with outdoor bar, perfect place for some summer drinks

Excellent service, with an amazing atmosphere! All staff are so lovely and helpful. The food is delicious too with updated specials weekly, honestly can’t go wrong. I would 100% recommend.

This is not the place to visit if you are dropping in for a social pint (and not eating) and a cosy warm chat by the fire or standing up at the bar. The main warm pub area is strictly for dining customers only and...

We had the marquee for our end of year do/leaving do and had such a lovely evening. The food was amazing and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. Brilliant atmosphere. I would definitely recommend eating here. View menu

Booked us in at very short notice, nice restaurant area inside and nice outside as well but that was fully booked. My wife had the lamb,I had the Beef. Ample portions with lashing of gravy. Probably the best I've had for a while

Stunning food. Great staff. Wonderful menu....so much Gluten Free to choose from and all homemade. Even kids menu was homemade too, no 'freezer food '. See you soon, when I bring another load of Gluten Free family to experience the lush food.

From the moment we walked in, it was wonderful. We had been recommended to try Sunday lunch here whilst staying at the Village hotel. Our waitress at the hotel said it was worth a visit and provided the contact details. When we arrived and shown...

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."
