Great food and beer. Staff were so helpful, great atmosphere. Good vale for money Really enjoyed the fish fingers sandwich and the steak sandwich, and the cheesy chips were amazing

great bierfestival. so many animals to choose from me was amazed. great entertainment, fantastic selection of grill or the standard menu that is great and to survive it from the staff are fabulous. can not recommend enough. View menu

Good pub for kids, food is nice BUT people taking orders have a clear preference for native English. I was waiting by the till but she decided to take an order by a person arriving after me....and even when I asked the reason she refused to change her mind.

Supper pub, one of our favourites, returned for Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent staff could not do enough for us. The choice of ciders and beers is amazing. The Sunday roast was, as usual, yummy with generous portions. My grandchildren loved their hamburgers. Thank you will see you again soon.

Ate here during the early May bh weekend. Decided to pop in whilst passing for lunch, it was ja packed but the staff made every effort to serve everyone with a smile. Cannot remember our waitresses name, blonde her and bubbly, she was run off her feet but did an incredible job although we hadn't booked a table. Probably the best gluten free burger I've had! after a long day before going along the coast and visiting the family we were in desperate need of prerogative! we went to the surrey oaks. we've already used this pub, but surprisingly good have never eaten there. that was delicious. it was made fresh and hot pierced. the employees were very attentive and asked if everything was in order, what it was we had pudding. .and delicious and a coffee. would recommend 100% the surrey oaks.

We attended the pub for lunch last Sunday, but when getting there our booking wasn't there and the pub was solid, but the pub still accommodated us ,even though there was, 6 adults, 1 child and 2 infants. They really went the extra mile to accommodate us. The food was nice but not brilliant, fish fingers were good, as were the chicken wings, and the roast was very good, but the burgers were ok, and should have come with skin on chips, and they were only normal French fries, also the haloumi fries were nice, but very little sauce. All in all a ok experience which was made much better with the service, 3 stars for food and 5 stars for service. Price was exceptional £342 with quite a few drinks

We busted here as it was local to where we were staying. We booked a table at 7 on 02/05/2024 when we arrived our drinks order were taken then our food order was taken which was the vegetable Thai curry with chicken, the chicken tasted like cold char grilled chicken just chucked in and the curry was just like a brown soup, we ordered more drinks after a 10 minute wait I went to the bar to see what happened to our drinks to find they had forgotten because the young girl that had taken our order was to busy talking to a table full of young lads.
