What a great place just to watch a film or have a drink with friends or have a meal just the kind of place Hastings needs

Celebrated New Years Eve up at The Sussex Exchange, we had the best time! The food was lovely, all entertainment was amazing cannot fault the night one bit! Amazing firework display

great venue and I would not hesitate to recommend it. I visited for friends engagement party and we were so well looked after by friendly and attentive staff. we even had our own dame “Bouncer”, which was so beautiful. will be back soon.

We came for afternoon tea for a birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was very filling and the atmosphere was delightful pretty in pink and florals. Teas available were breakfast, Earl, Peppermint, 2 selections of fruit teas and coffees. Staff were helpful and gracious. The premises also has a cinema, meeting rooms and a delightful piano as you walk in! Will definitely be visiting again!

Had a catch up with the girls really nice setting the food was ok I had a vegetarian burger although it was nice the person that brought it to the table didn't seem to know if is was definitely vegetarian that made me a bit worried . My friend asked for sweet potato fries and got normal Fries they did swap them for her.staff were friendly but service was slow . Was a little disappointed as it was our first time here in a few years. Dietary restrictions: I was asked about dietary requirements I was happy about that as I'm lactose intolerant.

can not mistake everything cocktails to die, eating amazing, personal fabulous and atmosphere and putting the whole place is beautiful I must say the service is brilliant and the personal make them feel very comfortable and nothing is too much. honestly, one of the best service. the personal was friendly, polite and always a smile yes, the place is busy, but still there are smiles the whole round the terrace in the sunshine is the place to be, I would be able to give it 5* throughout the day to go again, the very soon x would recommend nowhere else fantastic place to relax and enjoy many thanks to all workers for a beautiful time

Appalling!!! Arrived early on a Sunday for our table, told we weren’t allowed to order a drink because we were 20 minutes early. Also told we couldn’t order from the bar. Not told how to order or see the menu. 50% of the food was sold out but considering it was a 12:30 booking. Service was very very very slow and almost non existent. We have been here an hour and ten minutes and still no food! Told us the steak could only be cooked well done. 3 steaks on the menu, only one option not sold out and they only had one of those which HAD to be well done. We nearly walked out numerous times. The worst restaurant I have visited in years.
