"Absolutely discraceful service, I watched a elderly gentleman ask for sauces for his food who could hardly walk and he was directed to walk over the other side of the pub and get it himself, obviously I took it on myself to get it for him but the staff could clearly see he wasn't capable and told him to go get it himself. A little common curtesy and knowledge of treating the elderly respectfully is clearly lacking here and some education to staff is clearly needed. I did approach 2 manager's to tell them but they didn't care about the situation. Such ashame has its a decent place to eat for a cheap meal but respect goes far and watching someone struggle is pain in my eyes so please educate your staff to respect and look after the elderly."

I stopped by for lunch today and the food was excellent - nice and hot. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the pub itself is tucked away from the main road and town center. I highly recommend this place.

Loads of people tend to be very loud and have no awareness of other people. They play their phones on full volume and talk extremely loud. The food is very so so. Sometimes it's good sometimes its naf. The staff are very nice and very helpful never had a bad experience with any staff member. It's what you could expect from any wetherspoons honestly. I love visiting Telford whenever I'm in the area. The Botfield is a Wetherspoons pub, so you know what to expect - cheap but decent food served quickly. We ordered a burger and a curry, both of which were perfectly fine with no major complaints. It was just a simple meal that filled us up without being particularly memorable. We decided to have another drink before continuing our day of shopping. Overall, the experience was okay but not something I would remember for long.

I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my sister and niece for the first time. I completely disagree with the negative reviews I've seen. We enjoyed a delicious hot breakfast, I had eggs Benedict served by friendly staff at a very reasonable price. The restaurant was very clean, with plenty of staff cleaning around and everything was spotless. While the decor may be a bit outdated and in need of an update, I couldn't find any fault with the friendly staff and tasty food. I will definitely come back again.

"we wanted to visit the midlands and family for the first time since Christmas and in the frame of the visit I decided that we would take my mother for a nice Sunday dinner. she lives in telford and I am not familiar with the contrary so that I am on tripadvisor for ideas. I mean, I was looking for restaurants in Telford and sorted by rating; clays of broseley was the best from the list and that was what I booked. it is about a minute drive from my mother place through a beautiful shropshire landscape. we arrived in broseley a little early and found a parking space right in front of the restaurant. we were invited to take place on the terrace while they opened and had some drinks. I had a fantastic homemade limonade with glittering water, my mother had a Rhabarb juice that was so delicious that we were strolling home with us and my wife had a very nice pot tee. we had booked a table that had been placed in the restaurant for us, but we were offered the table on the terrace for lunch, which we liked to accept as the weather was perfect. we all ordered from the midday card, which for two courses and for three courses was a fantastic bargain. I ordered salmon and hake meatcakes with delicate brokolli, spargas and a white wine sauce and my wife and mother both ordered the beef Sirloin roast dinner. I was so impressed with eating. honestly, this restaurant lives up to all reviews. the ingredients were fresh and tasty and not refined as they get some places. to dessert my mother and I both had the rhubarb and custard' and playful plate that rhubarb compott, gelee, vanilla cream and small mygues combined crazy. the perfect end for every afternoon. during the meal were the employees (I'm sorry to say that I didn't get their names) attentive and friendly. our month old sohn, henry, has a stinking cold and has teethed, so was not on his best behavior, but the staff was fantastic with him. They even went so far that they broke out one of their dogs, a beautiful, huge dog called barney, for henry's entertainment. to cover everything, and this is great for parents of small children, they had a full baby change unit, complete with diapers, wipes and unhappy bags! I can honestly say I've never seen this before. all in all, for three nets, two desserts and drinks, the bill came less than unnecessary to say, I intend to visit again when we are close. I really can't wait."
