"We had two meals off the specials board, roast lamb neck and a burger celebrating the queen's jubilee. Both meals were lovely. Generous portions and service was fast. Meals were around £15 each. The car park is quite large and the seating inside abundant. Lovely little place in a lovely location close to the many attractions of the Edale valley."

I only had lunch, but it was a pleasant experience with reasonable prices. The garden was beautiful and the staff was friendly. I would definitely visit again.

The restaurant offers friendly service and excellent food and drinks in a charmingly renovated stone building. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

This pub has a great variety of beers and wines, but offers only one vegetarian option on the menu. This should be improved, especially in this modern age. The service was rated 4 out of 5 and the location was rated 5 out of 5.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food and beer are decent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great for a variety of outdoor activities in the Peaks. I would give the rooms, service, and location all a rating of 5 out of 5.

Food was average at best. Not a great selection of beer, have to fetch your own cutlery which at paying £16 for a pie is quite disappointing. Not really much atmosphere either and pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon when other places are very busy so it says it all really.
