"Wow what an evening superb food, drink and atmosphere!! Unfortunately there was a problem with the alarm which went off and there didn’t seem to be anyway of switching it off luckily my husband was able to stop it much to everyone’s relief. This however did not ruin our evening as the staff and management handled the situation well. It was a shame that other customers there at the same time had to be so rude and insulting to the staff when it clearly wasn’t their fault, some even walked out and refused to pay their bill, I felt ashamed to be British as their behaviour was appalling. I would just like to say thank you to all the staff at the Olive Tree for a fabulous evening and I can’t wait to go back and will definitely be recommending you to all my family and friends xx"

"We've ordered three delivered takeaways via The New Inn over the past three months or so. Our latest one was delivered Sat 29th Aug, Order for James, Blakesley .The food and experience has been outstanding. The super friendly and helpful lady on the phone Kings Head taking the orders is so welcoming and personable. The delivery times are spot on and the food is hot, tasty and very fresh. Pub quality food delivered at a very reasonable price. We've had fish and chips, mushy peas and the amazing burgers. They serve the salad and sauces separately to the burgers so when you receive them delivered they are not soggy and the finished result is better quality. We'll definitely visit the pub soon and will be supporting this lovely local again.Not many places deliver to Blakesley which is a huge mistake on the part of local pubs and takeaways, there is such a demand for it and there's money to spend. New Inn have certainly jumped on the bandwagon and good luck to them, they deserve it."

"Imagine going to a countryside pub with rustic charm and character that serves upmarket, restaurant quality food with professional service. That is exactly this place. I think I was actually shocked at how tasty the food was as you get used to the typical pub grub that gets served up at most places which is generally greasy and lacking taste. We ordered the steak beef burger and the vegetable cheese Wellington and couldn't stop talking about it on the car journey home. Reasonably priced and qe felt the food was a tier above other local pubs we have eaten at. Would bring my family here next time for sure!"

"We had a lovely lunch with a great selection of food and very friendly service. Actually we were spoiled for choice but three of us opted for the burger and had a peppercorn sauce on the side and one had the scampi although the beer battered haddock was also considered. We will definitely be returning for more of the same."

"On 16th November I held a private party for 90 men at this Hotel. The function room setting was a delight. The atmosphere created by dimming the lights and the pre-Christmas decorations set the mood for the evening. We arrived at 7:45 and the staff, who were very accommodating, managed to cope with 90 thirsty men in a very professional and timely manner at the bar. We dined spot on time at 8:15, a very acceptable Terrine starter was served followed by roast beef which was excellent, we concluded with Sweet and Cheese. The meal and service could not have been better. The manager was in attendance, to ensure that if any problems might arise they could be dealt with, but non arose. The serving staff were excellent polite and very courteous in manner. We were supposed to finish by 10:00 but unfortunately we over ran by nearly one hour but no pressure was put upon us to leave. I can only thank the Manger and all his staff for what was a very memorable evening for us all, everybody going away saying, Please when can we come again. Food drinks: Brilliant, the Chef is to be congratulated on accommodating a number of vegetarians at the last minute let alone for the quality of the meal and the way in which it was presented"
