Awful service. Had to ask for a glass of wine twice. Asked for the bill received quickly 15 minutes later nobody returned had to go to the bar to pay. A very half hearted sorry. If you don't have enough staff service less covers. Over cooked dry burger. Pointed this out to waitress who said she'd tell the kitchen. No offer of a refund or anything else. Sticky toffee pudding had no sauce what a joke. Sorry guys for over £50 per head just not good enough shan't be returning. View menu

We have enjoyed some excellent meals at this restaurant in the past, but our recent experience left much to be desired. The scallops starter lacked caramelization, the rotisserie chicken was dry, and the fillet steak ordered medium rare was overcooked, with barely a hint of pink in the middle. Despite sharing our disappointment with the chef, we were told that this was their standard for medium rare and there was no intention of making any adjustments. Unfortunately, with this kind of attitude from the kitchen, it seemed pointless to argue further.

We had a Christmas party for a group of 14. We brought our own crackers and serviettes which the waiter placed on our table beforehand. We were given a table which was in a separate area and private. We could email our menu choices before the meal. The food arrived timely and spot on as we have ordered and it was delicious. The service was great and everyone working at the pub very friendly. All my friends had asked that we have our Christmas party at the White Hart every year as they were so impressed. Thank you White Hart for serving us with excellence!

Thanks very much for a lovely roast at the White Hart. We have just come on a very busy Sunday (after only reserving our table the this morning) and the roast was absolutely amazing. One of the best pork belly roasts I have had, with very generous portions Due to other customers causing delays on us sitting down, the team were hugely accommodating and apologetic even though it was not their fault. They gave us a free bottle of wine as a kind gesture for the delay and amazing service throughout the remainder of our sitting. Highly recommend and will be back. View menu
