Turned up and they had no idea about booking. The roasts were burnt. Very disappointed.

a great local pub, with a proper bar and separate es tab. really nice eating, all cooked from ground. good selection of meals, beer and soft drinks.

The food was not good, the service was lacking, and there were problems with parking. The owner showed indifference and did not treat customers respectfully. I would not recommend going to this restaurant.

in the hotel in the opposite, what a beautiful pub food was excellent had salt and pfeffersquids and was nice fish and chips beautiful. the local and the owners, where very chatting we even offered a lift back to the hotel

Nice local pub, friendly landlord and staff.. We had the Thai Curry and rice, it was excellent ,there was so much we could not eat it all. The best Thai Curry I have ever had, it is made from scratch by Thai lady. They also have live music at the pub on Saturday nights. Would visit again if in the area.

We had a old fashioned roast dinner beautifully cooked the meat just fell apart and the vegetables that you could eat and felt had been cooked properly roast potatoes was lovely and a lot of them. And to top this of it came with a gravy boat. My daughter had always said they do the ever lasagna ever. Also my granddaughter enjoyed her kid meal every one happy.

Visited Friday evening as staying nearby at Hogsback Hotel.Felt sorry for the landlord as only a few people came in whilst we were there just for a drink.The spring rolls as starters were freshly made and so hot and tasty.The chicken, leek pies were delicious as was the gammon.Next time would definitely try the Thai curry as the lady cooking was very good.Good value for money just needs more people to visit to keep it open.

my man and I visited this pub when we were in a nearby hotel. the taxi driver told us not to bother us, but that didn't stop us. the pub was completely empty and we felt a little concerned, but we received the warmest reception from the renter and his beautiful wife. we ordered pancakes and we could say that they were cooked by fresh as we had a small waiting period. that eating was amazingly likely the best pancakes we had. the hauptammon for me and cakes for my man were nicely cooked and the pudding was beautiful.
