"TJ apparently has been around for some time but tucked away in a back street reveals a hidden gem. Looks can be deceiving but the basic appearance gives the traditional charm and ambience character of these good. Best Thai food outside of Thailand and equally best japanese food outside of Japan. Why do you need to travel to Asia when you can experience these food in Huddersfield. Service was very traditional. Japanese sushi was fresh and presentation was served beautifully. Decent portions. Very tasty. Value for money. We have been a few times since and will surely recommend."

Food was not authentic comparing itself. After covid lockdowns, it got refurbished, looks good but servers not that kind than before.

Staff attentive and very busy at all times. Food was superb, came out fresh and excellent tasting. Chicken pad Thai was to die for you, and the katsu chicken starters were so beautiful!

This Thai/Japanese fusion restaurant works well. The rolls are excellent with chicken and special tempura rolls enjoyed. A friend enjoyed a Thai green curry and Pad Thai. Further visits are planned. View menu

The food at this restaurant is phenomenal and the service is exceptional. We indulged in a variety of starters that were all delicious, and our main dishes were beautifully cooked and simply scrumptious. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

I recommend trying TJ's in Huddersfield if you enjoy Thai and Japanese cuisine. Our favorite dishes were the Beef Massamam Curry with coconut and cashews and the Pad Gaprow (with your choice of pork, chicken, or beef) topped with fried eggs. Don't miss out on trying this restaurant. You won't regret it!

I had a wonderful 50th birthday celebration with some friends at this restaurant. The tempura prawns were absolutely delicious! We also tried the screaming tiger, which was good but could have used a little more seasoning. Despite that, the staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. We do not live in Huddersfield and we are disappointed because we may not have the opportunity to eat here again due to the distance. The food is delicious, especially if you are a fan of Wagamama, you will love the food even more here! The staff is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The food at this restaurant was amazing. I ordered a Sizzler dish while my friend had the teriyaki, and we both saw the incredible-looking Sushil being served to other guests. The chicken katsu starter was a perfect 10. The prices were very reasonable, the service was excellent, the decor was authentic, and I couldn't find any faults. I would even say this is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I highly recommend it.
