This was undoubtedly the worst Chinese food we've ever experienced. The sauce had a gelatinous texture and was overly laden with food coloring. As for the flavor we could detect, it wasn't enjoyable at all. Food rating: 1. View menu

There's nothing wrong with that. I read some negative reviews, but the locals frequent this place, which is a good sign. Prices for pub dining have risen significantly lately, and this restaurant provides a great alternative at a reasonable price.

We shared four starters between two of us. The hoisin dish was excellent, but the salt and pepper dish was a bit overwhelming. The chop suey roll was enormous and reminded me of my younger days. The prawn toast was, well, just prawn toast. Overall, it was a great experience!

Was a bit wary of using this place due to some of the recent negative views but I needn't have worried. We got Singapore Chow Mein and Sweet Sour Chicken balls with chips. The food was very nice with no complaints at all. It maybe cost a little more than what it does at home (West Yorkshire) but other than that, no complaints. Would definitely use again. We received quick and friendly service during our visit. We ordered sesame prawn toast, king prawn curry, and Hong Kong sweet and sour chicken. The prawn toast was double the portion size compared to our local takeaway, and it was also much more affordable. It was delicious and not greasy at all. The main dishes had generous portions and were incredibly tasty. Plus, with chips or rice included in the price, it was a fantastic deal. Great job, everyone! Meal type: Dinner.

Absolutely and categorically the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. Singapore Chow Mein with Chips, the noodles were dry and stuck together, the chicken and pork were thin strips where they needed five or more pieces to achieve a mouthful and I've also never seen midget prawns before!. The chips were overcooked with no potato just pieces of greasy shards. I will never set foot in this establishment again, I'm absolutely convinced i could of went on Beadnell beach, gathered some seaweed and cooked in garlic butter and it would of been better than this....so so disappointing.
