"I attended in October on a Monday. It was packed as always. Firstly, let's talk about the noise levels. It is full of all sorts of noises with families and couples having fun and chatting (how it should be). The atmosphere was pleasant and the...restaurant was always kept clean. The staff were full of energy and was prompt to taking orders and cleaning the tables ready for the next customers arrival. Sarah (our waitress) was friendly and done her job very well by asking if everything was OK often, to make sure her customers were happy and well looked after whilst in her care. The food was filling and everything was available for the mains. When ordering we was informed of the desserts that were unavailable that evening. The food on the carvery was all cooked perfectly and not a single item was burnt. I will return again and would recommend to anyone who fancies a nice roast dinner any day of the week."

loves that. never eat bad here, the karvery plate is my favorite choice. only without booking is not good. I like her toby's bark sword and all this stuff in here, just a little loud in here. the prices are fair. sometimes the commands mess but still good and fast service.

have been here for years and have always enjoyed very much, but after the recent renovation, the tables are now much too close together. obviously done to increase profits, but I don't want to sit so close to other people I don't know if. I eat my dinner. please put it back as it was before.

sunday everyone.? this is the perfect place when, as I enjoy them a good Sunday. they have in the regular lamb, bark meat and my favorite turkey, of which they can only have one or a mix of the partie they also have (from what I can say) one all they eat policy on roast potatoes, pancakes and other veg that I definately use a great place to its quite cheap also for what they get!

First time at a Toby restaurant wasn’t expecting much from a chain restaurant but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the staff were all very smiley and polite despite being run off their feet nothing was too much trouble our waitress Shelley was brilliant a real credit...to the place. Secondly the food was amazing and plentiful meat was tasty as was everything else and what a great price we will definitely return.

this is the second time I visited. the first time before the renovation on a Sunday (big mistake) was incredibly busy and unfortunately they were short enough busy, so a bit over the square. I thought it needed a refresh when the place saw... it's running out. yesterday evening after hearing about the renovation returned. very clean and tidy, it was busy for half a week, but it wasn't a chaotic atmosphere as it was when I first visited. very good eating, friendly staff and a beautiful meal. I would come back, but on a weekday. booking recommended!
