"Six of us ate at the Tom Foolery (where we had eaten and enjoyed on a previous occasion) at lunchtime on Bank Holiday Monday, but it seems that someone had failed to tell them that it was a BH, so no sausages and no sourdough was the starting point (by lunchtime it was quiet) A bacon sandwich and double bacon on the breakfast were accepted. All the bacon eaters were disappointed at how overdone the bacon was when it arrived. I ordered poached eggs on the focaccia substitute a pity that there was no mention on the menu of the balsamic that was sprayed all over my food. Usually, I would have sent it back but the wait was not worth it, half not eaten. Other choices arrived without the promised side elements. Drinks were ordered; Dr. Peppers magically turned into Coke and one drink just didn’t arrive – it is digitally recorded on the till, so how are such basic errors made? Very disappointing and a location we will not return to."

Quite good food although mine was a tad cold. Good quality eggs and smoked salmon. No napkins given. Knife a little blunt to cut bread underneath salmon and eggs. They except dogs which is good (when you have one! Although some guests let their rather large ones sprawl all over the floor, making it difficult to manoeuvre around the tables! On the whole it was a nice stop off after a long walk around beautiful Boston Spa Service: Dine in

I went in last night and my cousins id got denied by the managed “holly”. Absolutely ridiculous. Everyone els was absolutely fine but hers. She’s 18years old she had her bank card, online banking, social media and still wasn’t okay? What more do you need to prove an id is real? Absolutely ridiculous when we are in there every weekend and there’s never been a problem before. She threatened everyone’s id to be taken off them even tho we’re over 18. Sort her out. She’s rude.

I’m appalled at the service! I am visiting from the USA (originally from Leeds) and had friends from London up in Yorkshire with me. The manager Nathan was so rude when I asked why it was taking 25 minutes for a coffee!!! A coffee!!!!!!! All he had to do was apologize, he got defensive and told me I can get my money back. He then gave me £3.50 what he wasn’t aware of was I also ordered food! He basically threw my money towards me at the bar. The place was not as busy as the day before yet the service was terrible. If they were short staffed why wasn’t the manager stepping up to help? All he did. Was sit in his chair looking at his laptop!!! Come on Yorkshire! You’re better than this! I’m als...

We met two friends here at eleven during twixmas, the place was very very busy with the addition of a christening party downstairs. We waited over ten minutes stood at the bar to place our order! There was only one staff member serving alcohol and taking orders, eventually another staff member came to take orders. She said drinks would be another fifteen minutes, however she didn’t mention that the food would be a further half hour after that! We had therefore finished our drinks before the food arrived. The bacon sandwich was lukewarm, the sausage ones were hotter and all the brioche bun tops were verging on being burnt. We do not live locally and had found this establishment as a convenien...

"My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. After a long journey and a chilly afternoon at Kirkstall Abbey, we were ready to eat, and boy, did we eat well. The olives were a hit with my sons and husband, while the garlic bread was described as some of the best they'd ever had. The Skin Fries were a crowd favorite, so much so that we almost fought over the last ones. The main dishes were equally impressive, with the meat eaters raving about the Spiced Pepperoni and the Vegetarian option wowing my husband. I couldn't resist the Florentina pizza, a personal favorite of mine. Dessert was a hit as well, with everyone indulging in their sweet tooth. The atmosphere at Gallery 41 was perfect for our family gathering - quiet, cozy, and conducive to good conversation. The staff were attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. I look forward to returning with the rest of my family and indulging in more of Gallery 41's delicious offerings. In the end, it's the simple things like family, good food, and quality time together that truly matter. Thank you, Gallery 41, for a wonderful dining experience."
