"We booked in for Christmas Eve late lunch early tea booked in for the adult dining area to the right which we were seated in but lots of family’s in there kids running around it was very noisy, the food was delicious we had chicken goujons...to start followed by Lasagna, gammon Top brink burger the food was delicious, and the service was good, didn’t order puddings as the wild noisy children in there had drove us mad, parents letting there children run around,so we couldn’t wait to get out, last time we were there they told us that the adult dining area had gone for now due to covid but I mentioned when paying and the young lady said it was due to room for families? I understand it’s a family pub but these parents had no consideration for anyone else. Please bring the adult dining area back when it’s a table of adults only eating you don’t want to sit where kids are shouting screaming and running around."

We were staying nearby and after our first visit we returned twice more. Great food and warm welcome. The mustard mash is divine!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, although my wife had been there before. They have a good variety of traditional pub food. I would suggest trying the steak and ale pie and the gammon.

Whenever I am in Todmorden, I always make sure to visit Top Brink. I went there on a Sunday afternoon and received excellent service. The food, as always, was amazing. I had the Barnsley chop, Lamb kebabs, and a delicious apple pudding. Highly recommended! View menu

Over the last years, the top brink has never ceased to amaze me. The staff are warm and friendly, this is also shown by the smiles on other customers faces. The food is brilliant, the only place I have ever visited that can fill...me up. A very warm family place, all are welcome and greeted with a smile.

We held my Mothers wake at the Top Brink yesterday. The pub catered for guests superbly with delicious meat and potato pie , curry and cheese and onion pie. All the food was professionally served and the staff were courteous and respectful. I would...definely recommend it for social visits or something on a larger scale

Arrived unannounced with my neighbour and were given an option of tables to sit at and at the same time asked if we wanted any drinks which swiftly arrived . My neighbour ordered the chicken tikka flat bread and I had the gammon but with...no pineapple and an extra egg . Both meals arrived in due course but I was informed before hand that they had no peas so had a salad instead which to be honest was just right . We both thoroughly enjoyed our food and the service but my only gripe was if I knocked off the pineapple it’s a bit tight to charge me for another egg . Would still comeback for sure View menu

From the warm welcome right through to checking everything was ok as we left, everything was spot on. The starters from the specials list all went down well, tom basil soup, deep fried haggis and deep fried black pudding. The batter on the haggis...and black pudding was amazingly light and crispy, much like a tempora batter. The Sunday roast mains were great, quality lamb and beef cooked well with a great veg selection. No room for puds but the meal was washed down with well kept beers and ciders. The waiting staff were young but were very professional and warm with big smiles, which is always a good start. Overall a lovely couple of hours while it was tipping down outside. Highly recommende...

Visited after not being for a while due to Covid. Pre covid we visited on a weekly basis. The pub was fairly busy but that shouldn't affect the quality of food or service. Whilst we appreciate it must have been difficult times and probably still...is, we were extremely disappointed. The gammon was almost half the size it used to be and was over cooked to a point you couldn't chew it.The potatoes that came with one of the other dishes looked green and weren't cooked properly in the middle. There was a lack of customer service and we waited minutes for our main meal. We asked for a dessert menu and after waiting minutes for someone to come and see what we wanted we decided to just pay and leav...

"After using cinnamon spice for many years, last nights service was appalling. 4 hour wait for a curry ordered at 6pm via their website paid for in advance. Many calls during the evening and reassurance given even at 7.30pm informed it was being cooked clearly incorrect misleading information. After an evening of multiple calls to the restaurant having the phone just ringing out, calls cancelled and text messages unanswered I did speak to the restaurant at 10pm they still were giving excuses the curry was being cooked totally unacceptable. A family evening spoilt without even the courtesy to call us and inform us of a 4 hour delay. I dread to think of people who ordered after 6pm when or if their food arrived or was it just ours that was forgotten. The restaurant should not accept orders they cannot deliver in a timely manner and if a delay is above the informed time of delivery the customer should be informed at least then giving us the option of sourcing the families evening meal elsewhere. We are still awaiting a refund which was not processed last night as promised, again very disappointing when the money is taken out if the bank immediately refunds should also be prompt. A family evening ruined by incompetent organisation of a takeaway service which surely was anticipated to be busy, even more disappointing as the food us usually very good but significantly let down by the operational management."
