"the staff, cleanliness and accommodation were all excellent. we were in an icy room with magnificent views, but the sound insulation between the rooms was not great, we could easily hear our loud talking neighbours. we were disappointed that the staff did not seem to challenge the few guests to wear masks, a legal request at the time of our visit. the menu was good, but limited for our tastes. we stayed two nights and once had the chicken dish, it was inspiring. the other dishes were good. total excellent, but room for improvement."

Have just had a wonderful dining experience at lunch time today. From the moment we entered the building; all staff courteous, professionally friendly. Our three course meal was so,so good. Steaks done to perfection. And the puddings and cheese and biscuits we'll fantastic.

Very comfortable. Delicious food, lovely location and interior design. Staff was polite and kind. I enjoyed every minute of it and would gladly go back. We had the vegan afternoon tea, which was delicious. I have never had a cauliflower sandwich like that before, but I hope to find a similar recipe : View menu

The restaurant offers high-quality vegan cuisine with exceptional service in a stunning dining area. While the menu selection is limited, the dishes are well-prepared and beautifully presented, using locally sourced ingredients. A meal for two with drinks costs around £50, but the experience is worth it.

Very nice. Almost a fusion of afternoon tea and a tasting menu! A few more sandwiches would have been nice and a teaspoon won 't reach the bottom of the shot glass that the lemon meringue pud was served in!! We had to find a way to the bottom!!! The flavours were lovely and I Am sure we will go and enjoy again.

The vegan menu at this restaurant provides amazing options made with fresh, local ingredients. The quality of the food is exceptional and the presentation is beautiful. The meal was well-portioned for a 5-star hotel: appetizer 8, main course 18, dessert 8. This restaurant is a great choice for a stylish vegan dinner in Inverness! View menu

we have eaten here on the 17th of December for my mother's birthday. each member of the team was so friendly and attentive (but not on the top art!, eating was delicious, great wine list, beautiful atmosphere, and they brought a nice surprise for my mother at the end, which was really thoughtful. this was the second time I was, and I will go absolutely again and continue to be friends and recommend to anyone who asks!

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
