Trattoria da Salvatore

Most people i know thoroughly enjoy Salvatore, but several people I know felt it was a little too salty. The owner is very friendly and my wife and I have eaten here at least times. They have a lunch special that cannot be beat

Once I noticed that the waitress didn't re-set the table with clean utensils this place lost any vote from me. I guess assuming someone hadn't used or touched them was okay along with dropping the "clean" knife on the floor then placing it on the table for a new customer. Gross. The food was okay, just okay. Never going back.

Say hello to Salvatore himself as he is always on duty and ready to greet his favorite customers. Come sit on the patio and watch some tennis or have a cocktail. The widest variety menu in town with your Italian and German favorite, plus fish and rice dishes that will leave you wanting more. It was a busy night, but this cannot be the sole reason of the poor quality of the food and the worse quality of service. We had to wait long, can happen, but we could not see staff being very busy serving anyone else. Pasta was al dente, but otherwise there was not much too it. The wine was okay. The caprese had most of its ingredients. It seems a form of coordination could have helped. Not a bad place to sit outdoors and the company was enjoyable...

Wir waren wieder zu Gast in der Pizzeria Trattoria Da Salvatore. Das Essen wir hatten Pizza bestellt, war dieses mal in der Mitte nicht richtig durchgebacken. Die Qualität schwankt von sehr gut bis nicht so toll. Im Lokal war sehr viel los und es wurde unangenehm laut, im Sommer auf der Terasse ist es schöner und die Kinder können auf dem Spielplatz toben. Die Preise für das Essen und die Getränke sind noch ok. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Deshalb nur eine bedingte Weiterempfehlung von uns.

Never would have found this place without a colleague's recommendation. Wow. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. It was dark so we couldn't see the outside area much, but we sat in a nice, quiet space upstairs good for larger groups. The service was very quick, the menu was substantial, and the food was outstanding. I had the farfalle and salmon and loved it. Fresh bread comes with your meal as well. I was so excited to try this place out as it was recommended to me by a colleague with whom I was going to dine. I greeted Salvatore in my limited Italian and asked him directly what he recommended as the best seafood dish. He...selected spaghetti al gamberi e salmone, which I happily concurred. I also ordered a Kristal Weizen. The waitress brought out a salad for me, but not for my colleague. She said it came with my meal. Salvatore brought out an order of garlic bread, which neither of us ordered. Further, I did not eat any as I avoid bread. The spaghetti with shrimp and salmon was very good. It was a decent portion of pasta, two large shrimp and a nice helping of salmon. I really enjoyed...

Wife was in the mood for Italian, so we decided to give Trattoria a try. We had long been intrigued by what was back up that road. What's up there is a lovely location. The restaurant sits in what folks back in TN would call a holler. It's nestled among ridgelines next to a tennis club. To take advantage of their setting, they have a nice outdoor area, which includes a small playground for children. Once inside the service was excellent. Parking is free and on location, as we drove there, it looks like this is a tennis club area with some children playgrounds and the restaurant is like a centre for the parents to sit and hang while the kids play and practice some tennis....Sees like a laid back tennis club but all patrons are welcome even if not part of the club. They have a charming inside sitting area and a super nice and refreshing outside garden style sitting area with table service throughout The restaurant is very cute and the employees are super friendly.
