Lovely fish and chips- good size portions and very hot fresh. Ice cream very reasonably priced, staff helpful- Dog friendly too!

This place is up there with of the best fish and chips I've had. The fish was so tasty and fresh and the batter was nice and crispy. If I'm ever back in Matlock Bath this will be my first stop

Really friendly service, they asked us if everything was ok and treated us well. The fish and chips are fried separately to any meat product so it's great for halal friendly diets. Our portions were generous and out food was cooked perfectly. It's clean and has lots of seating for groups. Had a great time!

As a first-time visitor, I was very impressed with my experience at this restaurant. The prices are quite reasonable for a tourist area, and the food was even better. My wife has celiac disease, and this is the best place for gluten-free fish and chips. The food is always fresh and hot, and all the seasonings are gluten-free. We wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The staff is wonderful and friendly, always greeting us with smiles. They are very accommodating and make us feel welcome. I highly recommend everyone to come in and give it a try—you won't be disappointed!

I visited today, and wow, it’s the best fish and chip shop I’ve been to in years! We ordered two sausages and chips on a gloomy gray day. The chips were perfectly fluffy and not greasy at all. The sausages were excellent, but the curry sauce was outstanding—spicy and rich, with a homemade touch. The gentleman behind the counter asked if we wanted to eat in. I expected takeaway, but our meals were served on plates with cutlery at no extra charge. In my experience, fish and chip shops with seating usually encourage you to dine in, so this was a lovely surprise. I will definitely be back!

that's the second time I ate at tuckers. the first time was the warmer weather, so I and my family were eating out. the second time was cooler (autumn) and we ate inside. I ordered chicken bugs separated for my little dog and she was brought her own little bowl nuggets. I striped the dough of the nuggets and lily enjoyed them, like my daughter. the flesh in the nuggets was the slimst and most white meat I saw. the service was excellent and the assistent asked if lily (dog) wanted a bowl of water. many thanks for the warm and welcome service and the reception in lily they enjoyed the nuggets. we visit them every time we visit matlock.
