"Lovely oldey worldly pub in quaint Middleton with beer garden and outdoor seating. Staff are friendly and food was delicious. The menu is limited but it’s all pub classics. Everything was spot on and super generous portion sizes, which is just what you need when you’ve been hiking all day. Prices very reasonable in the current climate. The pub is dog friendly. Recommended! Especially the Prawn Cocktail. Can’t fault it."

We’ve just been a lovely walk on Middleton top popped into this pub for a spot of lunch, Annabel and Ella were amazing even though I broke the dog treat jar. The girls were absolutely amazing and lovely. A credit to the pub. The food was definitely five star very tasty xx

This was not planned. But amazing staff warm welcome and the food was excellent I had the pie and friend had the burger and nothing was wrong. The size of the burger was shocking, and you need a good-sized tummy to finish it. Will definitely be going back again 5 stars from me. SUPER PUB

We have eaten here twice recently and we have enjoyed every bite of every meal.Every thing is freshly prepared and arrives piping hot.The fish pie is,quite simply superb,whilst the hunters chicken is the best I have EVER had.Good selection of beers and the young lady behind the bar,who we have seen on both occasions,is very pleasant and efficient. This establishment is not to be missed!
