"It’s worth mentioning that this restaurant isn’t entirely authentic when it comes to Caribbean cuisine, but it’s still fantastic. The cocktails are also quite impressive—there’s definitely plenty of alcohol in each one! One thing to keep in mind is the importance of making a reservation for experiences like the bottomless dinner. When we arrived, the waitress promptly took our next cocktail order before we’d even finished the ones we were drinking. However, as the night went on, the service did slow down a bit. We managed to have our 7 cocktails over two hours, so it’s hard to complain, but it's something to consider. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!"

Classic turtle bay. Very busy so make sure you book as you won't get in without booking. They had good food and 241 cocktails. Would recommend

Classic Turtle is a popular spot! It's quite busy, so be sure to make a reservation, as walk-ins aren't accepted. The food is delicious, and they have a 2-for-1 cocktail special. I highly recommend it!

this turtle is so beautiful! the personal is friendly and helpful, the colors and decorations are also really cool. I was with a group of 7 people and we all have different things. I choose the fish fry. the plate had a good presentation, and the salmon was delicious

I absolutely love this place! The customer service was outstanding, and our server was really nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend it, especially if the drinks are 2-for-1, as £9.20 for a cocktail isn't the best price. Overall, I highly recommend it as a part of a fun night out, but make sure to make a reservation!

The cocktails during the 2-for-1 promotion are fantastic, although they feel a bit overpriced at full price since they are rather small. The food, however, was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was lovely, complemented by great music and a vibrant vibe.

It's worth noting that while the restaurant doesn't fully capture the authenticity of Caribbean cuisine, the flavors are still delightful. The cocktails are also quite impressive and packed with alcohol. One thing to keep in mind is the importance of making a reservation, especially for something like the bottomless dinner. When we arrived, the waitress promptly took our next cocktail order even before we finished our current ones. However, service slowed down as the evening progressed. In the end, we still enjoyed 7 cocktails within a two-hour window, so I can't really complain, but it’s something to consider. Overall, I would highly recommend this place!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
