"First of all check your juice. Those are not pips, they are simply worms. Happy, drunk of juice and dead but still worms : when we sent it back we were told it's because they keep oranges for two days before they juice them... Hm. Well we have never seen black larva worms in oranges but who knows? Food is okay, nothing special. We have a comparison to haggis from different restaurants and this one was just ok. Staff are friendly but they didn't do anything to compensate we had three worms swimming in our orange juice. We had poached eggs with haggis and breakfast hash skillet meal. It was all ok but that's it. We won't be coming back."

Such a lovely spot, great options for vegetarians. The baked eggs are to die for. All the girls are so nice and helpful. A bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it! Absolutely would recommend.

What a hidden gem! Tucked at the bottom of Hanover Street, it’s larger than it appears from the street, with even a few tables in a back courtyard. My friend and I had brunch here and both enjoyed our meals. I recommend the za’atar spiced scrambled eggs on toast – delish!

Best coffee in Edinburgh. Very tasty food, I would recommend trying their scones. The staff is incredibly polite and friendly. Second time we came, they remembered our order from the first time we been there, and when we came third time, we were already joking with the employee. View menu

Delicious food with great gluten free options. They were able to offer our coeliac daughter gf French toast and I had the baked eggs with gluten free toast, the gf bread also tasted amazing. Make sure to book, we only found 1 time available to book on the Sunday and we had booked the Friday.

A gem of a restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh. Lovely staff who are friendly and helpful very attentive too! Food is delicious, all home made and of a very high quality. So much to choose from too. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you are visiting Edinburgh. Looking forward to returning soon!

This restaurant is a great spot for a relaxed breakfast. It's recommended to make a reservation in advance as we did not and had to wait for an hour. The brunch is outstanding! Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area. We had breakfast there multiple times in our week-long stay in Edinburgh because it was just so good. If you want to make sure you can dine-in, definitely make a reservation. Compared to prices in the States, totally reasonable for amazing food

The French toast was super tasty but the portion size was super small. £15 for something that should have been £11, £12 at most. Whilst queuing for the toilet I heard other customers saying the exact same about portion size vs price. Otherwise, the staff were all friendly, place was clean and service was quick and efficient.
