"The service was impeccable, very friendly, the place quite elegant. However, all the food seemed pre-cooked, from a jar. They gave us bread without oil, without plates. The pasta was a disappointment, it tasted like the one I make with fried tomato at home, I didn't even eat the meatballs, they taste like the ones they put in the army, without exaggeration. The fries were frozen. When we ordered a 15 euro plate of potatoes with truffle and cheese and they brought us the photo that I attach below, we literally went to take a photo for the family and I hid the plate under the table because I was afraid that they would see it because I didn't hit with the site. Anyway, very friendly but the food was a bit of a fiasco.... and EXPENSIVE like everything in Milan. I appreciate the work of the service because they were very helpful, but if reviews are useful for anything, it is to improve things, and the food should improve to be up to par with the place."

Great experience since we got into the restaurant. Attention was excellent and for the food I don't have words to describe it. A perfectly balanced risotto with the black truffle shaved at the table. Found through The Fork, I went with two friends to dinner at this delightful place. Well furnished, welcoming, with staff attentive to making sure nothing is missing. The food is delicious, a perfect Milanese cutlet accompanied by a good glass of white wine. They have a good choice of wines The price is medium-high but it's worth going there Service: Dine in View menu

Nestled in the beating heart of the Milan Cathedral, this restaurant enchants not only for its splendid elegant atmosphere, but also for its exquisite culinary offering. The dishes offered are true masterpieces of refinement and taste, created with skill and presented with elegance. At the helm of this extraordinary restaurant is the director Andrea who goes far beyond the simple management role. With his passion together with his team he guarantees an impeccable service.

Wonderful meal, very tasty and high level of service. Environment/ decor was nice, quite small at level 0 and intimate. Menu was short, which I like, and everything we chose was delicious. Head waiter/ owner was superb, lovely to talk to and very proud of his heritage. He was full of energy, colourful and had interest in the diner. Prices were not cheap but suitably reflects the location and quality. Recommend Vegetarian options: Good selection Dietary restrictions: Possibly Kid-friendliness: I would say no Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
