"As always! A wonderful evening! Thanks to Joachim Wissler and his excellent team. Even though strange things have been reported to us this time in advance from the Bensberg environment, which we have never experienced in our 5 times. You will be welcomed in jeans as cordially as in the evening dress. A sharing of food and drinks is possible at any time without being expelled from the restaurant. It is even explicitly pointed out and the quality of the products is excellent. The criticism that Mr Wissler does not come to the tables is understandable in the context of the honed TV stars, which in some cases are no longer in their own kitchen. If you want to see Mr. Wissler, you simply sit between the corridors at the “Aquarium” and watch how he puts his hand on. If you stand too long, you will be sympathetic — after a look at the notes — to his place, because Mr Wissler has a very close look at his tables and guests. A very special thanks to his team “outside”. Everyone also takes the time to keep Samalltalk with the guests at full restaurant. Never superficial, never stiff, always as the table needs. On 2 or 3 stars. No question for us! We are happy to come back at any time!"

On your homepage I find the indication that a vegan menu at the Vendôme restaurant cannot be offered. I find this very shameful for such a highly decorated restaurant and absolutely no longer contemporary. I would have expected more of the chefs. Shame!

Very friendly welcome, we ordered 6 courses and enjoyed 8 courses in 3 hours.The dishes and the wine tasting were excellent. The service team was very well organised.Even details were communicated upon request. We were very satisfied and enjoyed the evening very much!

We enjoyed an eight-course menu. The food was as expected creative, tasteful and also excellent in the presentation. The service was perfect, but always friendly and never stiff, so a pleasant atmosphere prevailed. Also responded flexibly to special features (pregnantity, communicated in advance) so that suitable and equivalent alternatives were offered from the vegetarian menu if required. The wine tasting (and also the non-alcoholic beverage tour) were creative, partly exceptional and perfectly suitable. Overall, an absolutely great experience in every respect.

We have been very happy to go to the Vendome restaurant for years, for example on the wedding day. After a big break we were there a week ago. We were very excited about the new menu. Partly disappointed. Of course, vegetarians and vegans should also be taken into account. However, we believe that a 2 or 3 star restaurant is visited over 90% by another clientele, precisely because of the exceptional ingredients and preparation that are neither vegetarian nor vegan.
