Delicious!! Best German restaurant in Heidelberg. The beer is great, as well as the Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu. Super recommended.

Traditional German brewery in the old town. Very busy and noisy, traditional German dishes, a funny experience but food is quite right, almost no service. We have eaten better elsewhere. glasses of water euros!!!!!!! We won’t come back

Another great restaurant in Heidelberg. We stopped off for some beers and decided to share something small, which was not small at all! We had typical Brotzeit which is a platter with some bread, cold meats and cheeses. The beer was great. Highly recommended.

big menu so something for everyone. look at the pictures for the diversity we had for only three people! they also had four brews to choose from. it was a tight fit and it was busy. service was great and they cared for. collect us an English menu and took pity and spoke perfectly English to us. nice place to visit, good food and delicious beer. We reserved a table to enjoy a Euro match with food and beer! The food we had was really nice, and reasonably priced. The beer is great as well. We were afraid it might be a little tourist-focused but really it was not! Would...absolutely recommend, and if I return to Heidelberg, I will go here again! They were open until on the Saturday night we went, it was very busy at when we arrived, but over the course of the night there were usually tables available!

a friend recommended weather, and it was close to our hotel, so we gave it a try. they warned us that it would take about minutes to get our food when we came in and they were about right. the beer and the Riesling wine. Good! there was nothing special about the sprouts, so skip them! our shinitzel was good as the mushroom soup. the service was slow. we noticed that the English menu mentioned that tip was not included in the price on the menu, the German menu has not said anything about a tipp.

Veltter’s has the best Schweinshaxe in Heildelberger. The restaurant is very typical German, here you will find the most popular german dishes such as Schweinshaxe, tiroler, rostbratwürstchen, schnitzel.... service is amazing, you won’t have to wait to be seated and to get a beer to...your table. The beers are brewed in house which make even more special. Price is great for the portions you will get and what I love the most the building is old and the deco is very traditional. Also to acknowledge the reviews below I am not sure how you would wait minutes for a menu as all the menus are layout on every table. I give out I would definitely recommend the place. View menu
