"The best pub we've been in for years! the personal is super friendly and attentive. we really received our big party for 3 days, would not have asked. there is a lot of drinks both soft and alcoholic, including non-alcoholic. beer prizes are fantastic! dinner in the evening and dinner in the evening, both amazing as well as quality and worth money. we will definitely come back!"

We have visited a few times the last 2 times, under the new owners, for Sunday lunch. The food and service really is superb we opted for traditional roasts both times for the last 2 visits, and they were delicious Keep up the good work. We'll be back for sure. View menu

Lovely food for Sunday lunch. My partner had the pork loin which looked fabulous. I had the Vegetarian Wellington roast and it was superb, with plenty of vegetables. Good value all round, would recommend.Vegetarian options: The Vegetarian option for Sunday lunch was pleasantly surprising and very tasty

Friendly and attentive staff. Mushroom stroganoff was piping hot but presentation could have been improved. Burger looked good, salad was lovely and well dressed. Chips were homecooked. Reasonably priced meals. Beer (pale ale blond) and fosters were excellent pints. Next time I'll try the sweet and sour chicken and rice
