"The Villuir is a Spanish version of an American truck stop. Located on the N-634 on the northern Camino road along the coast. Large parking lot filled with cars, trucks and buses. Enter into the bar for drinks and tapas or go deeper to a nice seating area with table cloths and linen napkins. We stopped for lunch mid week and had a nice meal of fabada (Asturian bean soup/stew) with great bread. It was served in a soup tureen and there was plenty. The bar held mostly truck and bus drivers (the international sign of good food) and the restaurant hosted families, working men on lunch break and what seemed like a group of businessmen for a lunch meeting. Our waiter was very attentive and there was an english menu for help ordering. The Villuir seems to be a local stop and also nice place to eat as you pass through the region."

from the outside you do not expect the quality of the site. We have eaten from menu seafood hot rice worthy of a good restaurant, amazing and with seafood. and the second cachopo of the ration size and very rich. Homemade desserts, coffee, and a wonderful deal. totally recommended if you are around the area, it is even worth a few km to stop here

Had a wonderful experience eating at this restaurant with my friend. The lovely family who run the restaurant prepared a special vegan lunch for us. They definitely put a lot of love into their food and the way they run the restaurant. I so enjoyed talking to the family and hearing their stories. They are very generous with smiles and laughter. A great Asturien experience for me and as a vegan, I can't eat out in many places in Spain! View menu

We ask for the tasting menu of 22€ per person thinking that we could try several things and the truth is that nothing convinced us. the rock cake and the right croquettes, no more. the rice was overly past and I knew some spice I couldn't identify instead of seafood. Moreover, the amount was exaggerated for two people, considering that a cachopo was coming later. The latter was right, stuffed with a ham and a low-quality cheese, yes. I think it would have been best to ask for a letter.

I have just had one of the most amazing veggie lunches in Asturias at this lovely spot in Villuir. Having spent my entire childhood in Villapedre it feels me with great joy that this restaurant has become a reference in 'veggie homemade and creative food '. I had cauliflower, falafel and grilled tomatoes. Fantastic presentation and impeccable service. Definitely a spot. We 'll return whenever we can. Of course, there are so many other options for everyone. Meat and seafood-heavy eaters will find here their paradise too. Everybody is most welcome.
