"If you're looking for authentic BBQ with a Cajun/Haitian/Creole twist, then this is the place to be! They have a great selection of BBQ dishes; I tried "the change" which included a bit of everything (pulled pork, burnt ends, ribs, and brisket all BBQed) along with some Cajun fries. Everything was absolutely delicious, with the only downside being that the brisket was a bit dry (but the flavor made up for it). We were treated to a complimentary starter of cornbread and chili-butter that was delicious. I started with calamari rings and then had "the change". Our server was warm, relaxed, and friendly, fitting perfectly with the laid-back atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor may be eclectic, but it's the taste of the food that truly matters. We visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon and the service was quick. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and I can't wait to visit again. They pay homage to the roots of the food and add a spicy kick which I personally enjoy. For those who like their food seasoned, they offer a "super hot sauce" on request that will really spice things up. The prices are on the higher end for a casual restaurant, but the quality of the food makes it worth it. Thanks to the chefs for their traditional cooking skills, this was the best BBQ meat I've had in Bristol!"

Really tasty food with its own unique take on smoked classics. The squid, pulled pork, macaroni bites and boneless Korean chicken thighs were especially good. 10/10 for service, the owner was really friendly and made us feel like a guest in her home

burgers were good, both came with double-patzen. my cheeseburger could have done with a little more cheese-dry. no beer on hahn and our thatchers was warm. we go in the rule for an additional side or dirty frying when we go for a burger, but they ran out of the fetched jabaneros. overall the service was friendly and portioning great.

The food at this restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, but the wait for the food was a bit long, which I understand may be expected with smoking. However, it would have been nice to receive some updates or a heads-up. It seems like this is a common complaint in other reviews as well. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was very beautiful.

we arrived for an early lunch and had a great service that was serving keerl was very polite, friendly and knew his menu and drinks. I chose the altar who has a good plate for carnivores, huh, ripening, brisket, fries and shiny! we also cost the burger and a child's meal. oh and must not forget the burnt ends, they were delicious as the other dishes! this is a great place to eat and could imagine that it is a great atmosphere when busy. 5* we are back for more!

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant! We were greeted warmly by a friendly staff member who seated us promptly. Our waiter was very attentive and had a great understanding of the menu. The food came out faster than we expected and was delicious. I tried the ribs and my partner had The Alter, a mixed grill, both of which had generous portions and fair prices. We also ordered burnt ends as a side, which were the best we have ever had. The restaurant has beautiful decor and a relaxed atmosphere, with professional and friendly staff. We are excited to return to try the burgers and hot dogs on the menu. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit and I hope it will be successful for ye...
