"Have been here several times before as it is a great meeting point for me and my friends. I have never had a problem at this pub on previous visits, but today was absolutely outstanding!! Greeted by a lovely, welcoming, polite, smiling host called Louise. Ordered my beer as my two friends had already arrived and got theirs and sat with them in the garden area. We chose food, one had the prawn salad ciabata and a portion of chips, one had the scampi and chips, I went for the sausage ciabata and a portion of chips. It wasn't a long wait before the food came to table. The portion sizes are very considerable and I had difficulty eating all of mine which is a HUGE shame as it was delicious made with clearly great produce, which is definitely a big improvement on previous visits. The range of beers etc has also greatly improved. The outside of the pub now looks tremendous whilst the inside still maintains an oldie world charm, whilst being spotlessly clean and welcoming. It was also very busy Would I recommend this place? Definitely!!! Great staff, great beers, great food, friendly, clean and reasonably priced!!"

A lovely pub in a great location, with amazingly friendly service and great food. We were so well looked after and all had a lovely time. Thanks so much we’ll be back!

Great pub atmosphere and beer cider range, barman however was unwelcoming and cold. Expect a few word mumble rather than a conversation. Seemed totally disinterested and unenthusiastic.

Warm lager, an ok little pie surrounded by boiled carrot, cabbage mash. A separate jug of gravy would be nice. Overall poor value for the money. There are lots of pubs in Eton, I'll be going elsewhere next time.

The Watermans Arms is a great local pub. The food is excellent and there is a functional room for parties. We have held some meetings and parties there, including music gigs. The staff is amazing and nothing is too much trouble.

Nice cozy place for a pint, friendly service, I loved the old book selection. I'm glad these old pubs are still serving. A note for visitors from the country, Ale, Lagators etc. are served Zimmertemp, without carbonation. Make it like the locals, experience their culture.

We live locally and first liked this place from years back, but recently it's different. It shut recently for no announced reason, its food so boasted about wasn't on either each time we went in. It just feels badly run, certainly not what you want on the approachvto Christmas.

Lovely setup location. A lot of history can be felt. Public car park was within a very short walk. Great atmosphere even though we were there today after a funeral. The service was quick efficient, but they seemed to be short staffed. One staff member was very quiet cold, and the other one did not look well at all. Perhaps should not have reported to work today. Yet they both coped with the huge number of patrons.

Huge disappointment, unfortunately. We were expecting the great food that is advertised and praised everywhere. When we went inside to get drinks, a very indifferent lady was behind the bar. I asked for the dinner menu, and she looked around, info the kitchen and then said yeah I think we can do something .... needless to say, we left, as do something is not what I have in mind when I think of great fresh pub food

Delightful hidden gem, superb landlady and friendly service. We enjoyed a business lunch outside in the pub garden but I have been there before an adore the charming interior especially the room with all the books. Wonderful range of drinks, wholesome traditional food. This place is a gem and very near the pedestrian bridge to Windsor at the end of Eton High St (close to Cote) tucked away down a lovely side street.
