"A group of us all dressed as Viking's as we were appearing at Tutbury Castle, aranged to have lunch at Whytes Sally, took our order in advance and we were able to all sit together at one long table. The food was delicious, very tasty we all had something different and the staff even accommodated one of our group who wanted something not normally on the menu. Service was great too, we were greeted with courtesy and welcoming smiles. We can all definitely add our voices to other epople that have recommended Whytes."

Went in at 3.40pm for a quick cup of tea. Turned away from a mainly empty cafe as they were closing at 4pm. Really! There were six of us so good lost business. Won’t be going back in a hurry.

Excellent food and good service. We enjoyed a leisurely lunch and catch up. We didn’t feel rushed in any way. I enjoyed my ham and cheese panini, with side salad. I had the coffee and walnut cake for dessert, and it was amazing

Popped in with my Mum to have a cup of tea and ended up having a lovely panini each followed by cake. The cafe is clean with toilets available. The choice of savoury food is varied with many cakes on display at the counter to eat in or takeaway and they also sell bread. Overall a lovely visit and we will definitely be going back again.

only word to describe it was embarrassing. asked for a mango smoothie, i watched the waiter make it. she put about 5 mango chunks and some apple juice in a blender, blended it and served it to me. wasn’t even a smoothie, no ice at all. rather apple juice with mango chunks floating around in it, was appalling, especially for the £3 i paid

Decided to take a drive up to Tutbury and discovered that we hadn't tried this establishment for breakfast. Being served was rather slow, but I could understand why it was so busy once my vegetarian breakfast with gluten free bread had been presented to me. I found my breakfast to absolutely delicious. My husband had also thoroughly enjoyed his rendition of a full English breakfast. Will certainly be returning in the very near future.

I thought this cafe had closed after the lockdown it was a nice surprise to find it open again, for a Saturday lunch we were only couple in the cafe, which was a far cry from the hustle and bustle experienced before the lockdown, as with all cafes that have opened, the menu is reduced. I’m not sure if we will visit soon as the cafe need to build up the the lost customer for closing an extra month, the food also needs customer ambience, it’s all about ambience and food choice.

This is a cute in a delightful village setting. We parked for free close by and ordered breakfast and drinks. The staff were very polite and helpful and the food was well presented. We chatted and ate and stayed to chat for some time ordering more drinks, it really was quite cool in there. When I went to the toilet it was absolutely freezing at the back of the shop where the toilets were and I would suggest to the establishment to buy some heaters to make their patronage more comfortable.

A group of us booked for a family brunch. It was a little chilly so didnt feel very comfortable sutting at our table. We ordered a selection of breakfast dishes 8 if us). Unfortunately everyone had overcooked eggs, poached were very hard and scrambled were terribly dry. Two dishes went back , two scrambled went almost untouched. The very dry hard crusts) toast really didnt help. I have been several times previously for lunch which have been not too bad. Unfortunately I wont go back for breakfast.
